General Information and Conditions
Responsibilities:
O'Brien Motor Coach Tours Ltd. acts only as an agent for the passengers
with respect to dining, attractions, admissions, accommodations,
transportation and other services and, therefore, can accept no
responsibility for missed connections, delays, delayed departures or
arrivals, loss, damage or injury to persons or property. We cannot
accept responsibility for itinerary changes, for changes in
accommodations, transportation, attractions reserving the right to make
substitute arrangements of equal value as deemed necessary by us. We
reserve the right to decline, retain or accept any person on any tour
at any time.
Deposit Policy:
A deposit of $600.00 per person (unless otherwise specified) plus the
cancellation insurance is required at time of booking to confirm
reservations. The final payment is due 60 days before departure.
Bookings made less than 60 days before departure must be paid in full
at time of booking. We accept cash, cheque or Visa or Mastercard. Early
booking savings valid if calling directly to us, not through a travel
agency.
Smoking and Drinking:
No consuming of alcoholic beverages or smoking will be allowed on board
the motorcoach. Frequent stops will be made to allow for smoking.
Transportation:
Transportation by modern motorcoach with reclining seats, state of the
art VCR's and stereo equipment, and on board washroom.
Luggage:
Tour package includes handling for 1 suitcase per person, maximum
weight 50 lbs. Carry-on hand luggage is the passengers responsibility,
should be lightweight and easy to store inside the coach in the
compartments over the seat.
Seating:
A pre-arranged rotation system, with no exceptions, usually once daily.
Gratuities:
Customary gratuities to Guides, Bus Driver etc. should be made on a
voluntary individual basis and not in the form of a group collection.
Gratuitity is usually $1. or $2. per person per day.
Insurance:
Blue Cross Travel Medical and Cancellation Insurance is available at
O'Brien Motor Coach Tours Ltd., and medical insurance coverage is
necessary when travelling with us, outside your own province, and
particularly in the USA. Cancellation insurance should be paid at time
of booking.
Cancellations:
Cancellations received 60 days before tour departure is fully
refundable, less a $20. processing fee. 59 -45 days-price of tour less
$150. per person) 44=30 days days to departure date-50% of tour price
will be refunded, 29-15 days- 25% of tour price will be refunded. 14
days no refund. Purchase cancellation insurance and 100% of tour cost
will be refunded.
Tour Package Includes:
Transportation, Accommodations, attractions, meals as listed, Services
of a professional Coach Driver and services of professional Tour
Directors giving knowledgeable commentary 'along the way'.
Accommodations:
Single- one bed, Twin-2 persons 2 beds,Triple-three persons 2
beds,Quad-4 persons 2 beds.
Special Diets:
Please inform us, when booking, about any special dietary needs.
Breakfasts range from a deluxe continental buffet or full breakfast.
Dinner-Buffet or full course meal. Meals included in the tour package
include tax and gratituty.
Due to allergy problems, please refrain from
using strong perfumes and scents.
Pick up:
Halifax, Truro, Amherst, Moncton, Sussex, Hampton, Saint John,
Fredericton, Woodstock, and places along the way.
