This magnificent ship is
962 feet in length, has 13 decks and can accommodate 2,501
passengers and 842 crew members.
Onboard amenities
include a rock climbing wall, casino, indoor solariums, glass elevators
facing the sea, ten story glass enclosed centrum, several pools,
jogging track, beauty parlor,
show lounge and 24-hour room service.
ITINERARY
DAY 1. We leave the
Maritimes and winter behind us, heading south for the Ultimate
Panama Canal Cruise, The Eighth Wonder of the World.
DAY 2. Travelling
through the New England states, we cross the Delaware
Memorial Bridge to overnight in Maryland for our second night on the
road.
DAY 3. Our journey takes
us past Baltimore, Washington, DC, through Virginia, into
North Carolina where we’ll overnight in Lumberton, NC.
DAY 4. We travel through
South Carolina, Georgia, then Florida where we’ll stop at the
Welcome Center for Orange or Grapefruit juice. We journey on to St.
Augustine
for the night.
DAY 5. Travelling down
the Atlantic Coast, we’ll make a stop at the huge Flea Market in
Daytona Beach, travel past Ft. Lauderdale to our hotel in Miami that is
near our port
of departure.
DAY 6. Early afternoon
we’ll board Royal Caribbean’s luxurious Jewel of the Seas,
our home for the next eleven nights. When you arrive in your cabin you
will soon meet the steward
or stewardess that will be taking care of your room for your stay
onboard. Be sure to be on
deck as our ship leaves the Port of Miami and sails on the Atlantic
Ocean. Dinner has been
reserved in the elaborate dining room for the main
seating which is usually around
6:00 PM or you can enjoy a casual buffet at the Windjammer.
DAY 7. Enjoy your first
day at sea, exploring this magnifient vessel. We will be sailing on the
Atlantic Ocean side of the Cayman Islands to sail eventually into the
Caribbean Sea. Enjoy the
onboard entertainment and activites and of course the delicious meals
available. You can book
some shore excursions today as well.
DAY 8. Our second day of
cruising takes us from the Atlantic to the Caribbean Sea and closer to
our
first port of call. Enjoy today on board and visit the many shops on
board this magnificent vessel,
or take in one of the exciting live musical shows in the Show Lounge.
DAY 9. We dock at
Oranjestad with its colorful Dutch Colonial buildings, capitol of the
island of
Aruba with pristine beaches, and rugged surf-carved rocks. This busy
port can accommodate five
ships at one time, and right at the port is the Renaissance Mall,
souvenir shops and eateries.
The main shopping areas are all within a 10 minute walk from the port.
You might want to visit
a beach, the Alto Visto Chapel, Ostrich Farm or do a walking tour of
Oranjestad. We are here
from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
DAY 10. Welcome to the
area of Cartagena, Colmbia, known as the Spanish Main evoking history
of pirates
and treasure. This bustling city has 800,000 people. The cruise ship
docks at the modern Terminal de
Cruceros on Isla de Manga, an island connected by a bridge to the city
centre about two miles from the
dock. At the terminal are phones, internet computers and a duty free
shop with taxis waiting nearby.
The Colombian Peso is the official currency but the US dollar is widely
accepted. There are excursions
to a Mangrove eco tour, visit the fort, cathedral, or stroll along the
ancient twelve foot high stone
city walls. Cartagena is famous for dazzling emeralds. Our stay is from
11:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
DAY 11. We enjoy a
relaxing cruise on the Caribbean Sea today before arriving at the
Panama Canal in
the morning.
DAY 12. Embark on an
epic journey as our ship passes from the Caribbean Sea on this fabled
waterway that
remains one of the most vital trade routes in the world. Cristobel
Pier, the thriving hub of international
trade, is at Colon, the second largest city in Panama with a population
of 150 thousand people. Here are
open air arts and crafts markets where the US dollar is readily
accepted. Panama is famous for its straw
weaving of everything from baskets to the famous Panama Hat.
DAY 13. We arrive in
Central America at Puerto Limon, Costa Rica which has a population of
sixty thousand.
Our ship will dock at the spacious Terminal de Cruceros, which has a
craft market, tourist information,
and internet services and is one block south of downtown. One of the
newest ports of call, Limon offers
downtown shopping which already have Colon (their
currency) prices converted to Dollars. Known
for its tropical gardens and sprawling banana plantations, the area
also has many varieties of birds
and wildlife, many of which are protected by conservation programs.
Shopping is a short walk away, so
be on the lookout for wood working, especially the minature replicas of
their ox carts, and pottery
sold by their craftspeople. We’re here from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
DAY 14. Today we cruise
the Carribean Sea between Mexico and the Cayman Islands, so enjoy this day
at sea and the many activies and entertainment the ship has
to offer.
DAY 15. We dock at the
capitol of the Cayman Islands in George Town on the island of Grand
Cayman which is
still under British rule. All shops are within walking distance of the
pier. Their currency is the Cayman
Dollar but US funds are acceptable everywhere.
DAY 16. We sail today
past the Cayman Islands and the tip of Florida on our last day of our
exciting cruise
to the Panama Canal. Enjoy the activites on board our ship today.
DAY 17. We arrive in
Miami this morning, pass through Customs, then travelling to our
comfortable accommodations
at Daytona Beach Shores.
DAY 18. Travelling along
the Atlantic coast, we leave Florida behind to overnight in Florence,
South Carolina.
DAY 19. We travel
through North Carolina to Virginia and spend the night in Woodbridge,
and enjoying a lively
dinner theatre this evening.
DAY 20. We pass
Washington, DC, and Baltimore through New Jersey and New York to
Norwich, Connecticut
for an overnight near a local casino.
DAY 21. Familiar
surroundings as we stop at our favorite shopping venues on our way to
Waterville, Maine
for the night, whee we’ll enjoy a final group dinner.
DAY 22. Homeward bound
with happy memories of our adventure to the Panama Canal.

Carolina, we pass through the peach state of Georgia, stop at the
Florida Welcome Centre and overnight in the old Spanish city of St.
Augustine.
DAY 5.
Travelling south along
the Atlantic Coast, we arrive in Boynton Beach for a four night's stay.
Enjoy a Managers Reception each evening with tasty treats.
DAY 6. Enjoy a
day ‘on your own’
to do as you please. Numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities
are available within walking distance, or just relax by the pool.
DAY 7. Enjoy a
relaxing morning.
This afternoon we'll visit West Palm Beach and take our coach through
the Lion Safari Drive-thru. We'll have dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 8. This
morning we'll take a
Riverboat cruise up the New River on the Jungle Queen. Enjoy a lively
commentary as we pass beautiful homes, and historic Fort Lauderdale on
our way to a tropical isle and we'll see playful monkeys and colourful
birds.
DAY 9. We
travel through
Alligator Alley, seeing the gators sunning themselves along the banks.
We'll visit the mysterious everglades skimming across the water on a
airboat cruise. Later we'll arrive in beautiful Naples on the Gulf
coast, our home for 4 nights.
DAY 10.
Mid-morning we'll board
the colourful Naples Trolley for a tour past elegant historical homes,
beautiful flowers and numerous interesting sites. We'll visit an outlet
mall, have lunch and relax at our hotel before going out to dinner at a
local restaurant.
DAY 11. Today
we'll visit one of the local flea markets, then back to the hotel to
relax.
DAY 12. Step
back in time for a
interesting and informative tour of the Ford and Edison winter estates,
and enjoy the beautiful tranquil gardens and museum.
DAY 13. The
weather is still
warm as we leave Florida to overnight at our favorite hotel in
Brunswick, Georgia that is attached to a shopping mall.
DAY 14.
Travelling north through
South Carolina, we overnight in Greensboro, North Carolina and attend
the Barn Dinner Theatre. Enjoy a musical comedy about the Ladies of the
Church as they make arrangements for various events with unexpected
results.
DAY 15. We
travel through the
Shenandoah Valley and visit the Luray Caverns, the most popular caverns
in the east. Easy walking past glistening pools, amazing rock
formations, cathedral size rooms. Then we'll spend the night in
Winchester, Virginia.
DAY 16.
Travelling through
Pennsylvania, we travel to Albany, New York with dinner tonight at the
Cracker Barrel Restaurant and Old Country Store next to our hotel.
DAY 17. We stop
at our favorite
shopping venues on our way to Waterville, Maine, where we'll enjoy our
‘farewell’ dinner and our last night on the road.
DAY 18.
Homeward bound with happy memories of our fun-filled trip to Florida.

Day 1. We leave the
Maritimes behind, stop at the Duty Free store, travel through Maine and
spend our first night near the New Hampshire/Massachusetts border.
Day 2. Travelling
through the New England States, we cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge
and we overnight in central Maryland, with dinner at a nearby
restaurant.
Day 3. We’ll arrive in
Washington, DC mid-morning, pick up a local guide for a tour of this
USA capitol. We'll see the White House, Capitol building, Lincoln,
Jefferson and Washington monuments, and the Vietnam Memorial, as well
as many famous landmarks, including the Canadian Embassy. We’ll check
into our hotel in Springfield, VA and enjoy a lively nearby dinner
theatre this evening for some delicious food and lots of fun.
Day 4. We travel through
Virginia, past Richmond, to North Carolina and into South Carolina and
arrive in Myrtle Beach and stay at our lovely beachfront hotel with
your own balcony, overlooking the sparkling sandy beach with waves
gently rolling in from the ocean, for the next 6 nights. We enjoy a
dinner buffet at our hotel tonight.
Day 5. A local guide
will join us for a Low Country tour of the area. We'll spend some time
shopping and have lunch at Barefoot Landing. We'll relax at our hotel
before going to one of the famous Calabash Restaurants, later we'll
enjoy the Grand Cirque Show with its incredible acrobatic and thrilling
acts at the Palace Theatre.
Day 6. Relax this
morning, later we'll go to an outlet mall for lunch and do some
shopping. We'll have time back at our hotel before going out to dinner,
then see “One the Show” at the Alabama Theatre, a mixture of dynamic
vocals, classics, fresh comedy, stunning costumes all make for an
evening of laughter and toe tappin fun.
Day 7. Enjoy a relaxing
morning, then we'll have lunch, visit the local Walmart. After dinner
this evening, we'll see the very entertaining show at the Carolina
Opry, a variety of music with everything from Rock & Roll,
Broadway, Country Classics and Gospel.
Day 8. Today we'll
travel south to the gracious tree-lined city of Charleston where we'll
enjoy a city tour, seeing historic southern mansions on streets lined
with live oak trees, dripping with Spanish moss. Later we'll have lunch
with time to explore on your own before heading back to Myrtle Beach,
having dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 9. Enjoy to day to
do as you please amid the sand and sun of Myrtle Beach.
Day 10. We leave South
Carolina, travel north, through North Carolina, stopping in the
bustling community of Williamsburg, Virginia for the night. This
evening we'll attend a nearby hilarious mystery dinner theatre for
delicious food and lots of fun.
Day 11. Get your camera
ready this morning as we cross the amazing Chesapeake Bay Bridge
Tunnel, stopping at the gift shop and fishing Pier with stunning views
of the Atlantic Ocean, travel through eastern Maryland and Delaware to
Jackson, New Jersey for overnight.
Day 12. We travel north
through New York state, stopping in the Albany area for overnight.
Enjoy dinner at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant beside our hotel.
Day 13. On our way to
Waterville, Maine, we'll stop at our favorite shopping areas. This
evening we'll enjoy our group ‘farewell dinner’ at our hotel.
Day 14. Homeward bound
with memories of our entertaining trip to Myrtle Beach.

Day 1. We leave the
Maritimes, travel through Maine, and overnight in Massachusetts.
Day 2. Travelling
through the New England States, we then overnight in central
Pennsylvania where we'll enjoy a buffet dinner with time to browse in
the giftshop.
Day 3. We journey south,
through Pennsylvania, cross the Mason-Dixon Line to Maryland, heading
west through the mountains, one of the most scenic drives in the
country, past Cumberland into West Virginia and south to the city of
Charleston for the night.
Day 4. We travel into
the ‘bluegrass state of Kentucky’, past Lexington, famous for the
numerous horse farms, and miles of fences, pass Bardstown, site of My
Old Kentucky Home, through the countryside and on to Sikeston, Mo.
Tonight we'll have tasty dinner and lots of fun at the “Home of the
Throwed Rolls” restaurant.
Day 5. We travel south
into Arkansas, along the Mississippi River and arrive in Memphis,
Tennessee mid morning. We'll visit Graceland, the former home of Elvis
Presley, which has become a National Historic Landmark. We'll have a
tour of Elvis' home, see his planes and antique cars, shop, have lunch,
then enjoy a riverboat cruise on the Mississippi River.
Day 6 We stop at Casey
Jones complex, for a break, make a stop at Loretta Lynn's Dude Ranch on
our way to Nashville, Tennessee, the home of country music, for two
nights. Our hotel is within walking distance of souvenir shops and the
Opryland Hotel. This evening we'll enjoy the Nashville Nightlife Dinner
Theatre for food and fun.
Day 7. A tour guide will
join us for a city tour, to see the homes of the stars, Hall of Fame,
the Capitol, the replica of the Parthenon. We'll visit the Ryman
Auditorium. Take time to drop in to the world famous Tootsies Orchid
Lounge or the Ernest Tubb Record Store. This evening we have reserved
Gold Circle premium seats at the world famous Grand Ole Opry (best
seats in the opry house).
Day 8. We travel across
Tennessee to spend three nights at our favorite hotel in the ‘prettiest
town in the Smokies’ - Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Shops and restaurants are
within walking distance of our hotel, and enjoy this evening to explore
on your own.
Day 9. Mid morning we'll
go to Dollywood Theme Park, where you can enjoy country, bluegrass,
gospel and the fifties musical shows, as well as activities with the
Festival of Nations, that is on. Take a ride on the Dollywood Express,
take a walk through Craftsmans Valley. This evening we'll enjoy a
musical variety show in Pigeon Forge.
Day 10. Enjoy today to
‘do as you wish’, maybe take a ride ‘up the mountain’ on Ober
Gatlinburg, the Aerial Tram or visit the Aquarium of the Smokies.
Day 11. We leave
Tennessee, travel through the beautiful Shenandoah Valley between the
Blue Ridge and Alleghany Mountains to Winchester, Virginia for the
night.
Day 12. We travel into
Pennsylvania, stopping at Hershey, on our way to the area of Albany,
New York for the night, where our hotel is next to a Cracker Barrel
restaurant.
Day 13. We'll do some
shopping at our favorite venues on our way to Waterville, Maine for the
night where we'll have our ‘farewell’ group dinner.
Day 14. Homeward bound
with memories of our musical tour to Tennessee.

DAY 1. We leave New
Brunswick & overnight near the NH/Massachusetts border.
Day 2. Travelling
through Connecticut, New York to Pennsylvania for overnight, where
we'll have a delicious buffet and you'll have time to explore the
extensive gift shop on site.
Day 3. We travel through
Ohio, past Toledo and spend the night at our favorite hotel past
Toledo. Enjoy a buffet dinner at the “old Barn” restaurant just a few
steps away.
Day 4. Breakfast is
under the oak tree this morning before we travel into Indiana,
Illinois, cross the Mississippi River and overnight in Davenport, Iowa
tonight.
Day 5. Travelling north,
we pass Cedar Rapids and Waterloo making a stop in Nashua to see “The
Little Brown Church in the Vale” made famous in the song. We'll have a
tour, hear the story and sing the old hymn while someone plays the
1870's organ. We travel north into Minnesota and arrive in the twin
cities area Minneapolis and St. Paul for three nights, where our hotel
is near the awesome ‘Mall of America’.
Day 6. We'll begin our
day at the Mill City Museum, stop by the baking Lab where Betty Crocker
and other costumed interpreters test products. Later on we'll do the
Flour Tower ride, a multi-media show in an eight story freight elevator
that concludes on a upper lever observation deck for a panoramic view
of the Mississippi River. See the story of flour, pass the water lab,
Rail Corridor, Recipe Box, Machines, Harvesting display. This afternoon
a local guide will join us for a city tour, seeing famous landmarks and
the famous waving statue of Mary Tyler Moore and drive past her TV
home. We'll explore the 23 room castle museum at the Swedish American
Institute, where Swedish trained chef will prepare us a traditional
Swedish meal. We'll see the Fitzgerald Theatre where Garrison Kellor's
“A Prairie Home Companion” is recorded live.
Day 7. After a leisurely
morning, we'll spend the rest of the day at the Mall Of America, the
largest indoor shopping complex in the country, comparable to the West
Edmonton mall. This evening we'll enjoy food and fun at one of the
popular dinner theatres in the country.
Day 8. We leave
Minneapolis travel east to Baraboo, Wisconsin for 2 nights. This
afternoon we'll enjoy a cruise on the Upper Dells, where sandstone
bluffs provide spectacular scenery, on the Wisconsin River, with 2
stops at the Witches Gulch and Stand Rock. Later we'll enjoy dinner and
entertainment with a Norwegian family.
Day 9. See the
fascinating collections at House On The Rock. Be amazed at the Infinity
Room that stretches without support over the Wyoming Valley below. See
the largest Carousel in the world and listen to automated orchestras
and music machines.
Day 10. This morning
we'll stop at the Visitor Centre for Reiman who publish Country Woman
and Taste of Home, and shop at their Country Store Outlet. We'll ride a
tram on the warehouse tour of the Jelly Belly Center, and get to taste
some sweet samples. We travel to Shipshewana, Indiana, check into our
hotel and enjoy an Amish style dinner.
Day 11. We travel
through Ohio and along Lake Erie to Erie, Pennsylvania for the night.
Day 12. Our journey
takes us though the state of New York to the Albany area for overnight,
where our hotel is next to the Cracker Barrel restaurant.
Day 13 Travelling
through Massachusetts, we stop at some favorite shopping venues on our
way to Waterville, Maine for overnight where we'll enjoy a farewell
group dinner.
Day 14 Homeward bound
with memories of our Europe USA & Mall of America tour.

Day 1. We leave from
Florenceville,
New Brunswick, stop in Moncton for lunch, Gateway Village for break,
then cross the Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island to
Cavendish, our home for the next 2 nights. This evening enjoy a
delicious turkey dinner and then enjoy some toe-tappin' musical
entertainment with Mary Smith & Friends.
Day 2. Enjoy a tour
around the island
today, taking in festivities of Canada Day (Schedule not confirmed yet)
This evening we’ll have a lobster dinner which includes a buffet and
dessert,(alternate selection available) at Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant
in North Rustico.
Day 3. Travelling across
the
Confederation Bridge, we journey through Nova Scotia, stop at a local
market for a break, and on to Halifax, Nova Scotia, our home for 2
nights. This evening we'll have food and fun at the Grafton St. Dinner
Theatre.
Day 4. Enjoy a leisurely
morning,
have lunch at the waterfront and tonight we have excellent seats to
watch the Nova Scotia Royal International Tattoo, a musical variety
extravaganza of colourful pageantry, marching bands with civilian and
military performers.

Day 1. We leave New
Brunswick, cross
the Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island where we overnight in
Cavendish, and enjoy a delicious dinner this evening.
Day 2. Our adventure
begins as we
travel to Souris and go by ferry to Cap-aux-Meules, one of the Magdalen
Islands, a journey that will take about 5 hours. Enjoy dinner on the
ferry. We'll arrive on the Island and stay at the Chateau Madelinot,
near the town of Fatima of 2700 inhabitants, with its ocean view and
friendly atmosphere for two nights.
Day 3. The Archipelago
of the Iles de
la Madeleine is in the middle of the St. Lawrence River about 215 km
from the Gaspe Peninsula, 105 km from Prince Edward Island, 95 km from
Cape Breton. The island chain composed of about a dozen islands, six
that are connected with sand dunes, take the shape of a fishhook for a
distance of 65 km. Today a local guide will join us for a tour of this
place of sand dunes, golden beaches and red red crumbly rocky steep
slopes. You'll marvel at the randomly scattered bright colored houses
that show the Acadian and French origin of the people. You’ll learn
what a Baraque barn is and see many fishing villages. Then back to our
hotel for dinner.
Day 4. You'll learn more
of the
island today, have time to shop for souvenirs in Fatima, and see 2 more
of the villages. At Laverniere we’ll see one of the largest wooden
churches still exhisting in North America and Site d'Autrefois
(Yesterday’s Typical Site). We'll see the Etang-du-Nord lighthouse and
visit the interpretation center La Barachois. We enjoy dinner at our
hotel, than we'll have a short ride to the cruise/ferry MVCTMA
Vanancier. This 12000 ton vessel is 126 meters long, has 220 cabins, 8
decks, fitness room, reading room, games room, observation deck,
entertainment and a naturalist guide on board. There is a Convenience
Store, information area and movie theatre as well. Breakfast, lunch and
snacks are served in the cafeteria, while dinner is served in the
dining room, with a different menu every night. While on the ship, all
meals are included. Early evening we leave the islands to begin our
relaxing cruise on the St. Lawrence River.
Day 5. We'll cruise the
Gaspe Coast
with a stopover in Chandler. Enjoy a local tour, walk or use the free
shuttle to the nearby mall. While in the Gaspe area, we get a close-up
view from the ship of Bonaventure Island and the huge rock at Perce.
Enjoy resting on a lounge on one of the open decks or one of the areas
to relax inside.
Day 6. We continue on
the St.
Lawrence River, watch for whales around Tadoussac this morning, and
stop in Quebec City where the ship docks in Lower Town at the foot of
Dufferin Terrace. You can visit Chateau Frontenac or browse through the
shops in Artists Alley in Old Quebec, all within walking distance.
Day 7. Continuing along
the St.
Lawrence, we arrive in Montreal this morning after breakfast. After
disembarking, we continue on Drummondville for shopping and lunch on
our way to Riviere du Loup for overnight, with dinner at our hotel this
evening.
Day 8. Homeward bound
with memories of our cruise/island adventure.

Day 1. We leave New
Brunswick, travel through Nova Scotia, to spend our first night in
North Sydney, where our hotel overlooks the ferry terminal.
Day 2. We board the
ferry this morning for a 6 hour crossing to the island. Enjoy the
on-board entertainment, movies or watch for whales before we arrive in
Port Aux Basque. We'll drive past the towering Long Range Mountains to
Stephenville for overnight.
Day 3. We'll drive past
Corner Brook and Deer Lake, then take the Viking Trail to Gros Morne
National Park. We'll make a stop at the Tablelands on the way to Cow
Head for the night. This evening we'll enjoy a performance of the Gros
Morne Theatre Festival.
Day 4. We'll continue
along the Viking Trail to St Barbe, cross over the Strait of Belle Isle
to the shores of Labrador to Blanc Sablon and on to L'Anse au Clair for
the night.
Day 5. We'll drive to
Red Bay National Historic site to see the world's largest 16th century
Whaling Port. We'll then take the ferry over to St. Anthony where we'll
spend 2 nights. Enjoy dinner at our hotel which is in walking distance
of local stores.
Day 6. We'll visit
L'anse aux Meadows, home of the Viking people, and see the remains of
the Norse buildings. We'll take a short drive to Fishing Point to look
for Ice Bergs before attending a Viking Feast for food and fun in a
Viking Underground Sod hut.
Day 7. Enjoy a pleasant
coastal drive, past Port aux Choix, and see roadside gardens on our way
to Rocky Harbor, keeping an eye out for moose on the way to our hotel.
Day 8. We'll travel down
the Viking Trail, stop for a break in Deer Lake, travel past Grand
Falls-Windsor on our way to Clarenville for the night. Enjoy a
Screech-in tonight.
Day 9. We'll take the
Baccalieu Trail stopping at Hearts Content where the first
transatlantic cable was laid. We'll visit the Cable Station, then
travel over to Conception Bay, the pirate town of Carbonear, then on to
the city of St. John's for 2 nights.
Day 10. A local guide
will board our coach for a city tour this morning. We'll see Quidi Vidi
Village, Signal Hill, Cabot Tower and other sights. After shopping and
lunch downtown, we'll travel to Cape Spear, the most easterly point in
North America, home to Newfoundland's oldest lighthouse, and where you
can stroll along the coastal boardwalk and watch for whales. This
evening we'll enjoy a local dinner theatre for food and fun.
Day 11. We'll see the
Silent Witness Memorial site where the 101st Airborne division’s plane
crashed in 1985. We'll check into our hotel in Gander where we'll have
a Meet & Greet ceremony. Tonight we'll enjoy some traditional
Newfoundland music.
Day 12. We'll make a
stop in Cornerbrook on our way to Port Aux Basque for the night, where
we'll enjoy dinner at our hotel that is within walking of the downtown
area."
Day 13. This morning
we'll board the Ferry for the ride back to Nova Scotia. We'll overnight
in New Glasgow, with dinner at a nearby restaurant.
Day 14. Homeward bound
with memories of our adventure tour to Newfoundland & Labrador.
We'll take a break at a local market as we journey on our way.

Maritimes and overnight near the New Hampshire/Massachusetts border.

special hotel in Pennsylvania and enjoy a buffet and gift shop on site.
Day 3. We travel to
Western Ohio, stay at our favorite hotel with dinner ‘in the barn’.
Day 4. Breakfast under
the Oak Tree, then on to Iowa and overnight at the Amana Colony.
Day 5. Past Des Moines,
cross the Missouri River, to Nebraska to Grand Island tonight.
Day 6. We travel past
the plains to the mountain high city of Denver, Colorado.
Day 7. Enjoy a scenic
mountain drive, past Grand Junction to Richfield, Utah tonight.
Day 8. We journey across
Utah, south past Cedar City, St. George into Nevada, past Mesquite and
arrive mid afternoon in the glittering city of Las Vegas, our home for
2 nights at one of the many Casino Hotels on the strip. Enjoy the rest
of the day on your own.
Day 9. Early this
morning we'll board a local coach stopping to admire the Hoover Dam and
Lake Mead, on our way to the ‘new attraction’ at Grand Canyon West.
We'll arrive on the Hualapi Indian Reservation, enjoy a ‘cowboy lunch’,
the visit the Skywalk. Made of 1 million pounds of steel, this 2.8”
thick overlook of glass stretches 70 feet over the Grand Canyon and
Colorado River 4000 feet below. We'll be back in Las Vegas about supper
time.
Day 10. Travelling north
past St. George, we'll stop at Big Screen Theatre to see “Zion-Canyon
of the Gods”. Then we'll drive through sandstone canyons, rocky deserts
and forested plateaus and amazing mountain splendor in Zion National
Park. A short drive to Kanab (known as Little Hollywood because of the
movies filmed here) for 4 nights.
Day 11. Today we travel
to Lake Powell for a spectacular scenic cruise amid the multi colored
mazes of sandstone formations that were created when the dammed up
waters of the Colorado River flooded Glen Canyon. This evening we'll
have dinner on a ‘movie set’.
Day 12. Bryce Canyon
National Park is our destination this morning. We'll make a stop at a
local popular shopping area with time for lunch. Later we'll drive amid
thousands of delicately carved spires and hoodoos in the colourful
Bryce Canyon.
Day 13. Today we'll
visit the Grand Canyon National Park at the North Rim. This area is
1200 feet higher than the south rim and you will be in awe as you
explore this spectacular scene of heart-stopping majesty. Prepare to be
amazed at the scenery.
Day 14. This morning
we'll enjoy the journey past the Vermillion Cliffs and Grand Staircase
Escalante National Monument into Arizona and to Monument Valley where a
Navajo Guide will show us many Western Movies have been filmed. Later
we'll journey north to the little town of Moab, Utah for the next 2
nights with dinner nearby.
Day 15. Enjoy a guide
tour of Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. This
evening have dinner and an awe-inspiring sound and light cruise on the
Green River.
Day 16. In Colorado we
leave the interstate, travel cross country to the town of Pueblo.
Day 17. We cross through
Cowboy country into Dodge City, Kansas . Enjoy Front St. show and
dinner at Long Branch Saloon (of Gunsmoke fame), see a shoot-out and
Boot Hill.
Day 18. We travel past
Topeka and Kansas City cross the Missouri River to Boonville, Mo.
Day 19. We cross
Missouri and Illinois, visit the speedway in Indianapolis and spend the
night.
Day 20. We travel into
Ohio, past Columbus and north to Erie, Pennsylvania tonight.
Day 21. We travel
through New York and overnight near Albany next to Cracker Barrel.
Day 22. We'll stop at
our favorite shopping venues on our way to Waterville, Maine.

Day 1. We leave New
Brunswick, stop
at the Duty Free Store, cross the border and travel through Maine.
We'll travel through the countryside, past the Shelburne birches and
overnight in Gorham, New Hampshire.
Day 2. We travel through
New
Hampshire and the White Mountains, cross the Connecticut River into
Vermont, the Green Mountain State. We'll stop at the Cabot Creamery,
where you can sample some of the best cheddar in the world, on the way
to The Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont, our home for 3 nights. The
lodge, an European Style Inn is perched on a mountain top overlooking
the Stowe Valley and the Worcester Mountain Range. Enjoy the
beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens, and visit the gift shop
while we're here. Dinner each night is in the elegant dining room
reminding us of an earlier gracious era. It's like a little bit of
Austria in the countryside of Vermont. Enjoy an afternoon lunch of tea
& cookies, entertainment each evening as well as a feature
film.
While here, we'll see the family film ‘The Real Maria’
Day 3. Enjoy an all you
can eat
leisurely breakfast, then we will visit the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, New
England's largest provider of Apple Cider. Sample some cider, browse
among the arts and crafts, and watch how cider is made. See the glass
bee hive or visit the bakery. We take a luncheon cruise on beautiful
Lake Champlain on the Spirit of Ethan Allen III, where you'll enjoy the
Lunch on the Lake Grand Buffet.
Day 4. A short drive
will bring us to
Montpelier and we will visit The Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks, an 8
generation family business, complete of course with a large gift shop.
Enjoy the maple trail and see the famous forest sculptures of mythical,
and Vermont Folklike characters, and the color film in the Woodshed
Theater. Later on we take a tour of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream
Factory, watch a movie in the “Cow Over the Moon Theatre” and sample
the flavor of the day, shop in the gift shop and get a bird’s eye view
of the production line of the factory.
Day 5. We travel to
Burlington and
take the scenic Ethan Allen route to Bennington, the third largest city
in Vermont, where we visit a vintage service station with antique cars
and exhibits, see the Bennington Battle Monument, a granite obelisk,
306 feet high, and see the valleys and rolling hills of 3 states from
the observation platform. This is the tallest structure in Vermont,
commemorating a 1777 battle when Colonial forces defeated the British.
Visit the 1806 First Congregational Church, with its vaulted plaster
& wood ceilings. Next to the church is the Old Burying Ground,
where the poet Robert Frost is buried, before checking into our hotel
for the night.
Day 6. Our journey takes
us on the
Molly Stark Byway to Brattleboro, where we'll travel south to
Massachusetts where we'll travel the scenic Mohawk Trail. We'll stop in
Shelburne and see the Bridge of Flowers on an old trolley bridge in the
center of town.
Day 7. We stop at the
Cracker Barrel
Old Country Store and the Christmas Tree Shop on our way to Waterville,
Maine for our last night on the road and ‘farewell dinner’.
Day 8. Homeward bound
with memories of our tour to the Trapp Family Lodge in Vermont.

Day 1. We leave New
Brunswick, stop
at the Duty Free Store, travel through Maine and spend our first night
on the road near the border of New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Day 2. We travel through
New Jersey,
Delaware into Maryland and arrive in Ocean City for 4 nights. Our hotel
is on the boardwalk, within walking distance of shopping and
restaurants, and faces the ocean. Dinner this evening is at our hotel.
Day 3. This morning
we'll enjoy a
boat cruise around Ocean City. A naturalist, on board, will answer all
your questions about the waterways and surroundings as well as marine
life. Later a guide will join us for a tour of Assateague Island
National Seashore Park, a 37 mile long barrier island, where we'll see
the herd of wild ponies that live on the island. The small horses
wander the beaches, roadways, marshland and the campgrounds on the
island. You'll get to see them up close, in parking lots and beaches
when we stop for a break. Later we'll go out for lunch and shopping in
the nearby town of Berlin, where the movies, Runaway Bride and Tuck
Everlasting were filmed. Later we'll go for dinner and entertainment at
the Ocean City Jamboree.
Day 4. This morning
we'll visit
Crisfield, a little fishing town, stop at Carvell Hall world famous
cutlery outlet. We'll sail to Tangier Island, just 14 miles offshore in
Tangier Sound and learn about the lifestyle of this quaint little
island in Chesapeake Bay in Virginia waters. The people here still
speak with an Elizabeathan accent and we'll enjoy a local Chesapeake
Family style meal on this island where time seems to have stood still,
with only golf carts and bicycles for transportation.
Day 5. Enjoy today ‘on
your own’ to
enjoy Funfest, which is the biggest and best event in Ocean City with
vendors from all over the country selling their crafts, food outlets
and lots of entertainment in the big tents at the pier just a short
walk from our hotel. You can take a ride on the tram that travels along
the 3 mile long wooden boardwalk all through the day. Check out the
‘web cam’, call your family at home to put on their computer and you
can wave to them as you stand in front of the camera.
Day 6. We leave
Maryland, travel
through Delaware, with an overnight in central Connecticut with dinner
at the Cracker Barrel restaurant and Old Country store.
Day 7. We'll take a
break in
Worcester, visit the Christmas Tree Shop on our way to Waterville,
Maine for our last night on the road. Enjoy a ‘farewell’ group dinner
this evening.

with memories of our trip to Ocean City.

Day 1. We leave the
Maritimes, stop at the Woodstock Duty Free store, Houlton for lunch,
travel through Maine, have a buffet dinner and spend our first night on
the road at our favorite hotel on the New Hampshire/Massachusetts
border.
Day 2. Travelling
through the New England states, we arrive late afternoon in midtown
Manhattan, the ‘Big Apple’, New York City for the next 4 nights. Our
centrally located hotel is within walking distance of Times Square,
Rockefeller Center, the Theatre district, shopping and restaurants.
We'll enjoy a Broadway play this evening.
Day 3. This morning
we'll have a local guide join us for a tour of the city seeing Ground
Zero, Wall Street, Empire State Building, Battery Park, Central Park
and Trump Tower. You'll find out where all the celebrities live as we
travel through the city. We'll stop for lunch at South Street Seaport,
a major complex with shops, restaurants and museum ships. This evening
we'll enjoy a Broadway play to be announced later.
Day 4. Midmorning we'll
take a leisurely cruise around the New York Harbor, under some of the
bridges and around the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. You can take
really good photos of the skyline of New York City as well as the
famous landmarks. Later we'll have lunch at the food court at the
Manhattan Mall and you can shop at Macy's Department store, nearby
discount stores or visit the Empire State Building. Early evening we'll
visit the Top of the Rock viewing area at the top of Rockefeller Center
to see the lights of New York City.
Day 5. Enjoy a day to
‘do as you wish’, maybe get up early and be part of the audience at the
Today Show. Take a walk or a carriage ride in Central Park. Tours are
available at CBS and NBC Studios or visit the NBC Experience Store.
Take a ride on the subway, visit Chinatown or some other neighborhood.
Day 6. We leave New York
this morning to travel to Boston, where we'll enjoy a unique dinner at
our hotel before going to see Shear Madness, the play that began in
1980 and has played over 10,000 times.
Day 7. We'll visit the
Christmas Tree Shop and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store on our way to
Waterville, Maine for a farewell buffet for our last night on the road.
Day 8. Homeward bound
with a break in Bangor, lunch in Houlton, stop at the Duty Free store
in Houlton, cross the border with many happy memories of our autumn
tour to New York City and Boston.

Day 4. Enjoy a leisurely
morning. Our hotel is within walking distance of the Falls, Casino and
lots of shopping. This afternoon we'll enjoy a tour of the area,
driving along the Niagara Parkway and see the Floral Clock. This
evening we'll enjoy a lively show and tasty meal at a local dinner
theatre.
Day 5. Enjoy the morning
‘on your own’. You might want to check out the Niagara Sky wheel, 175
feet tall is a world class Ferris wheel with heated fully enclosed
gondolas, holds 6 people and lasts about 10 minutes. We'll take the
Journey Behind the Falls, using the elevator a Table Rock House
dropping 150 feet through solid rock to the tunnels and viewing
portals, showing the grandeur and power of Niagra Falls as 1/3 of the
world's fresh water crashes 13 stories to the basin below. We'll see
the ‘Oh Canada EH? Dinner Show’ this evening for a musical celebration,
songs and scenes of Canada.
Day 6. We cross the
border to the US at Windsor, travel past Detroit, Michigan to Lima,
Ohio for overnight.
Day 7. We travel south
through Ohio past Dayton and Cincinnati cross into Indiana, through
Illinois, past the gateway arch in St. Louis and overnight in Fenton,
Mo.
Day 8. We arrive in
Branson this morning. We'll stop at the Branson Mall for lunch, then go
to the theatre to see Daniel O'Donnell and Mary Duff.
Day 9. Enjoy a leisurely
morning before going to a nearby outlet malls for lunch, then see Shoji
Tabuchi.
Day 10. Today we'll have
a cruise on the Show Boat Branson Belle on Table Rock Lake for a
delicious meal and not-to-be forgotten entertainment.
Day 11. We leave Branson
this morning, travel through St. Louis, through Illinois in to Terre
Haute, Indiana for overnight.
Day 12. We pass
Indianapolis, travel to Ohio, north past Columbus to Austinburg, Ohio
for the night.
Day 13. We leave Ohio,
travel along Lake Erie to Pennsylvania, to New York state and overnight
in the Albany area where our hotel is near the Cracker Barrel
Restaurant.
Day 14. We stop at our
favorite shopping venues on our way to Waterville, Maine for our last
night on the road and group ‘farewell dinner’.
Day 15. Back home with
memories of our fun filled vacation to Branson and Niagara Falls.

Day 1. We leave the
Maritimes, enjoy a dinner buffet and overnight in Massachusetts.
Day 2. Travelling
through
Connecticut, and New York states, we spend the night at our favorite
hotel in central Pennsylvania and enjoy a tasty buffet with time for
the gift shop.
Day 3. We continue
through Pennsylvania, into Ohio with an overnight in Columbus.
Day 4. Our journey takes
us through
Indiana, Illinois, cross the Mississippi River to Fenton, Missouri with
our hotel next to a Cracker Barrel Restaurant & Old Country
Store.
Day 5. We'll arrive at
lunch time in
Branson for a three nights stay. We'll visit the Branson Mall, and then
go see the very entertaining Daniel O'Donnell and Mary Duff. We'll
check into our hotel and see.
Day 6. Enjoy a leisurely
morning,
we'll visit an outlet mall for lunch, then have dinner, cruise and show
on the Showboat Branson Bell on Table Rock Lake. We'll see a show later
(to be announced).
Day 7. Enjoy a leisurely
morning, see
Shoji Tabuchi, the Japanese fiddle player, this afternoon and then a
spectacular production at the Sight & Sound Theatre this
evening.
Day 8. We leave Branson,
travel south into Arkansas, and overnight in Greenville, Mississippi.
Day 9. We enter
Louisiana travelling
south cross Lake Ponchetrain, to the memorable and exciting New Orleans
for the next 3 nights.
Day 10. This morning
we'll enjoy a
city tour, and see Mardi Gras World, where the floats are made, see the
French Quarter, Bourbon Street and Jackson Square, and above ground
cemeteries. Our guide will show us how the city is rebuilding after the
devastation of Katrina, and sharing some of the more positive
developments.
Day 11. Mid morning
we'll enjoy
‘Brunch at Brennans’ a dining experience of some of the world's
creative dishes, topped off with Bananas Foster, a tradition in New
Orleans. Later on this afternoon you'll have some free time to ride the
famous St. Charles Streetcar.
Day 12. We travel north
through the Mississippi Delta into Alabama, past Tuscaloosa and
Birmingham to Gadsden for the night.
Day 13. Before we leave
Alabama, we
stop at the Unclaimed Baggage Center store where the airlines send
luggage unclaimed for 90 days, we travel a short distance in Georgia to
Tennessee, past Chattanooga, and Knoxville to Virginia. Our journey
takes us through the Shenandoah Valley between the Blue Ridge &
Alleghany mountains to Christiansburg for overnight.
Day 14. We continue to
travel through
Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, cross the Mason Dixon Line into
Pennsylvania to the Amish area of Lancaster for the night.
Day 15. Travelling
through
Pennsylvania, into New York State, we overnight in the Albany area
where our hotel is next to the Cracker Barrel restaurant and Old
Country Store.
Day 16. We stop at our
favorite
shopping venues on our way to Waterville, Maine for our last night on
the road and a farewell group dinner.
