Branson Express Holiday Lights
November 01 - November 14, 2007 - (14 days)
Day 1
We leave the Martimes, cross into Maine & overnight on the
NH/Mass. border.
Day 2
Travelling through The New England States, New York and New Jersey,
we'll stay at our favorite hotel in central Pennsylania, where we'll
enjoy a delicious buffet dinner with time to shop at the extensive
giftshop onsite.
Day 3
We journey in Pennsylvania, then the state of Ohio, to overnight in
Columbus.
Day 4
We'll pass Indianapolis, through Illinois, cross the Mississippi River,
and the Gateway Arch, and overnight near St. Louis, Missouri.
Day 5
We arrive in the music capitol of Branson for lunch, then visit Silver
Dollar City Theme Park, to enjoy the shops, crafts and music, have a
delicious dinner buffet there, before the musical lighting display of
the 5 story Christmas Tree. We'll check into our centrally located
hotel, for 4 nights, near the Palace Shops, then attend a show (to be
announced later-show schedules for 2007 not complete as yet in Branson.
Day 6
We'll have time for shopping and lunch at a local outlet mall before
seeing the popular Daniel O'Donnell and guest star Mary Duff, and later
have a buffet at Sadie's. This evening we'll enjoy Bobby Vinton singing
his many hits and Christmas songs.
Day 7
We'll spend time in downtown Branson for lunch and shopping at the many
shops, as well as a five and dime store. Later we'll see Andy Williams
in his memorable Christmas show at the Moon River Theatre. After a
dinner buffet, we'll go to the New combined Moe Bandy/Country Tonite
Show.
Day 8
Then we'll have dinner, show and cruise on the Showboat Branson Belle
on Table Rock Lake. Later we'll see a dynamic performance at the
spectacular Shoji Tabuchi Theatre, with special effects and lighting in
this musical variety show with singers, dancers and of course Shoji
Tabuchi with his fiddle.
Day 9
We leave Branson and the Ozark Mountains, pass by the Gateway Arch in
St. Louis, travel into Illinois with an overnight in Terre Haute,
Indiania.
Day 10
Our travels take us across the Ohio River to Wheeling, West Virgina for
the night to the Festival of Lights where we'll enjoy a drive thru
light tour, holiday dinner and entertainment.
Day 11
After lunch we'll arrive in the Amish area of Lancaster, Pennsylvania
and attend the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre for Irving Berlin's White
Christmas.
Day 12
We journey northeast to overnight near Albany, N.Y where our hotel is
adjacent to a Cracker Barrell restaurant.
Day 13
We'll have our Christmas Farewell Dinner & Gift exchange this
evening at our hotel in Waterville, Maine.
Day 14
Home with memories of our holiday show and light tour to Branson.
Included: All taxes,
transportation, accommodations, attractions and shows as listed,
baggage handling, all breakfasts, 11 dinners.
