We'll enjoy the scenic Irish Loop drive on the Avalon Peninsula, past
Bay Bulls, have lunch at a local bed & breakfast, and maybe
some of the world's most southerly caribou herd, and go to a beach
where whales are often seen just offshore.

We travel to the Bonavista Peninsula where John Cabot landed with the
Matthew, visiting the lighthouse, with a stop at the town of Trinity,
one of the oldest settlements in Newfoundland and often was harassed by
pirates, before we overnight in nearby Clarenville.
Day 9
Travelling west, we pass Grand Falls on our way to Gros Morne National
Park where we'll spend 2 nights in Rocky Harbor on the shores of Bonne
