SOUND OF COUNTRY MUSIC AND SPEED OF NASCAR

Three weeks before Daytona some of NASCAR's top drivers unveil the new cars and designs with some of country music's biggest stars.

Day 1. We leave the Maritimes, cross the border, enjoy a buffet dinner and overnight in Massachusetts. This evening enjoy live musical entertainment at our hotel.

Day 2. Traveling through the New England States, we overnight at our favorite hotel in central Pennsylvania. Enjoy an Amish-style buffet this evening, with time to browse through the extensive gift shop on site. Later enjoy live musical entertainment.

Day 3. Our journey takes us across the Mason Dixon Line, through the scenic Shenandoah Valley in Virginia where we'll overnight in Bristol on the Tennessee/Virginia border.

Day 4. Excitement builds as we travel pass Knoxville to Nashville, Tennessee, the home of Country Music, where we'll spend 3 nights at a downtown hotel.

Day 5. Enjoy a leisurely morning. Lunch is included at the Wildhorse Saloon, later we'll visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. The Sound and Speed Fan Festival starts off with the Honky Tonk Happy Hour at Legends Corner, The Stage, Second Fiddle and Nashville Crossroads on Broadway, where you might meet one of your favorite drivers or country music stars. This evening enjoy a Super Concert with some of your favorite country stars.

Day 6. Get your camera ready because you'll have an all day pass to Fan Festival featuring limited autographs and appearances by country artists and drivers, as well as Question and Answer and story telling sessions. This evening we have excellent seats at the home of Country Music, The Grand Ole Opry.

Day 7. Traveling through Tennessee, we enter Virginia with an overnight in the area of Christiansburg, in the Shenandoah Valley.

Day 8. We pass Winchester, travel through West Virginia and Maryland into Pennsylvania, make a stop at Chocolate World at Hershey before checking into our hotel.

Day 9. Leaving Pennsylvania, we travel though New Jersey, past New York City, to travel along the coast to Milford, Connecticut, for the night.

Day 10. We travel through the New England States to overnight in Waterville, Maine for our last night on the road. Enjoy a delicious farewell dinner at our hotel with live musical entertainment to follow.

Day 11. Homeward bound with memories of Sound and Speed 2010.

FLORIDA OCEAN SOUNDS, SAND AND SUN

FEBRUARY 3 - 22, 2010

Day 1. We leave the Maritimes, travel through Maine, and overnight in Massachusetts.

Day 2. Traveling through the New England States, we cross the Delaware River and spend the night in northeast Maryland with dinner at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant.

Day 3. We drive south through Virginia into North Carolina and overnight in Lumberton.

Day 4. We travel past South Carolina, through Georgia and stop at the Florida Welcome Center to sample fresh orange and grapefruit juice. Then we're off to St. Augustine.

Day 5. We'll make a stop in Orlando for lunch, travel to St. Petersburg and spend five nights at our hotel with oceanfront rooms overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.

Day 6. Today is ‘on your own', relax by the pool or go shopping across the street.

Day 7. Relax this morning, later we'll take a drive to the quaint Greek town of Tarpon Springs, where you can browse through the shops before dining at a local restaurant.

Day 8. After a leisurely morning, we'll visit a local outlet mall for shopping. Later we'll board the Calypso Queen for a narrated relaxing luncheon buffet cruise.

Day 9. We'll have a "MYSTERY TOUR" today for enjoyable sights and sounds.

Day 10. We'll travel across Florida to the Central East Atlantic coast and our hotel in Cocoa Beach for 5 nights. Enjoy oceanfront rooms with private balcony.

Day 11. Enjoy 'today' to do as you wish, exploring the area or relaxing by the pool.

Day 12. This morning we'll spend some time at the huge Daytona Flea Market.

Day 13. We'll enjoy the visitors center and tour at the nearby Kennedy Space Center.

Day 14. Today we'll visit the town of Cocoa Beach, and board a riverboat to enjoy a leisurely cruise on the Indian River, with a chance to see Manatees and local wildlife.

Day 15. Traveling north we leave Florida, into the peach state of Georgia and to our favorite hotel in Brunswick, attached to a shopping mall, for the night.

Day 16. Our travels take us though South Carolina, with an overnight in North Carolina. Before checking into our hotel, we'll visit the Billy Graham Library to view films, media, photos, and tour the Graham family Home place.

Day 17. We journey north to Virginia and travel through the beautiful Shenandoah Valley to Winchester for overnight. This evening we'll enjoy some local entertainment.

Day 18. Traveling through West Virginia, Maryland, crossing the Mason-Dixon line into Pennsylvania, we'll overnight in central Connecticut this evening.

Day 19. Waterville, Maine is our destination, where we'll enjoy a farewell dinner buffet, and evening entertainment with our talented musicians.

Day 20. Home with memories of our Florida tour with ocean sounds, sand and sun.

EVENING AND ON BOARD ENTERTAINMENT WITH JOEY KNIGHT

Day 1. We leave the Maritimes, stop at the Woodstock Duty Free, cross to the US, lunch in Houlton, Maine. We'll enjoy a delicious dinner buffet and check into our hotel in Massachusetts where we'll enjoy some live musical entertainment this evening.

Day 2. We travel through Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York states to Lancaster, site of the largest Amish community in Pennsylvania, for three nights. Enjoy dinner ‘on your own' and a chance to shop at the Outlet Mall within walking distance of our hotel.

Day 3. Sleep in this morning, later an Amish guide will join us for a tour of the countryside, where you'll see many horse and buggies, farms and enjoy a commentary on the local history. Later on we'll experience an amazing show at the "Sight and Sound Theatre", the largest Christian Theatre in the country. We'll see the story of ‘Joseph' in song in an exciting production that uses real animals, and many special effects.

Day 4. Relax this morning, later we'll visit Kitchen Kettle Village, composed of unique shops and has facilities for a ‘buggy ride' if you so wish. We're going to travel a short distance and enjoy a delicious dinner and entertainment with Jeff and Sheri Easter.

Day 5. Enjoy another relaxing morning, then we'll travel to Hershey, the Chocolate Town, visit Chocolate World for lunch and shopping and take a ride for the simulated tour that shows the ‘making of the chocolate bar and, of course, Hershey kisses. We'll check into our hotel in Chambersburg, later this afternoon. We'll enjoy dinner and musical entertainment tonight with Jeff and Sheri Easter.

Day 6. We leave Pennsylvania, travel northward to the area of Albany, New York with dinner tonight at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant and Old Country Store, beside our hotel.

Day 7. We'll stop at one of the Christmas Tree Shops, and other venues on our way to Waterville, Maine for the night. This evening we'll enjoy a musical show and farewell dinner at our hotel.

Day 1. We leave the Maritimes behind, stop at the Duty Free store, travel through Maine and spend our first night near the New Hampshire/Massachusetts border.

Day 2. Traveling through the New England states, we cross the Delaware Memorial bridge over overnight in central Maryland, with dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Day 3. We'll arrive in Washington, DC mid-morning, pick up a local guide for a tour this USA Capitol. We'll see the White House, Capitol Building, Lincoln, Jefferson and Washington monuments, Vietnam Memorial and many famous landmarks, including the Canadian Embassy. Later we'll enjoy dinner, and check into our hotel in northern Virginia.

Day 4. We travel through Virginia, to NC, into SC to our oceanfront Myrtle Beach hotel for six nights. Enjoy your own balcony overlooking the sparkling sandy beach with waves gently rolling in from the ocean. A dinner buffet is included at the hotel tonight.

Day 5. After a hot breakfast buffet, a guide will join us for a tour of the local Low Country, with history on Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand. We'll visit Barefoot Landing, an interesting variety of shops overlooked by a lake, filled with wildlife. We'll have some time to relax before going for dinner at a local restaurant, then enjoy incredible acts both magical and electrifying at Le Grande Cirque show at the Palace Theatre.

Day 6. Enjoy a leisurely morning, then we'll enjoy a cast of look-alike impersonators performing the music of current and past stars. Maybe Elvis will join us!!! Dinner is included at Original Benjamin's Calabash Buffet. Later we'll see the show at the Alabama Theatre, a dynamic mix of vocals, fresh comedy, dance and stunning costumes.

Day 7. Relax this morning, later we'll visit a nearby outlet mall for some bargains, with a delicious dinner at a local popular restaurant. Then we'll enjoy the Carolina Opry, a high energy show that blends humor and music from Rock and Roll to country and gospel music.

Day 8. Come for a surprise ride on our 'MYSTERY DAY' with dinner on the way home.

Day 9. Enjoy a day 'on your own' to walk the beach enjoying the ocean breezes.

Day 10. Traveling through North Carolina, we'll enjoy our oceanfront hotel in Virginia Beach, with shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Day 11. Get your camera ready this morning as we cross the amazing Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, stopping at the gift shop and fishing pier with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. We travel through Maryland and Delaware to central New Jersey for the night.

Day 12. We travel north through New York state to our hotel in the area of Albany. Dinner is at the Cracker Barrel restaurant beside our hotel.

Day 2. We'll have lunch , just past Montreal, arriving in the nation's capitol, Ottawa, Ontario where we'll stay 3 nights, at our favorite hotel near the Rideau Canal.

Day 3. This morning we'll enjoy a guided tour of the city seeing Parliament Hill, Dows Lake and Commissioners Park with 300,000 colorful tulips and other capitol sites. Enjoy lunch on your own at the bustling outdoor Byward Market. We'll spend time at the International Pavilion at Major's Hill Park at the popular Tulip Marketplace, where various countries share their crafts, entertainment and culture.

Day 4. Enjoy a leisurely morning, on your own, we'll visit the Garden of the Provinces, complete with 2 beautiful fountains. Later we'll enjoy a relaxing cruise on the Rideau Canal, followed by dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 1. We begin our great adventure as we leave the Maritimes, stop at the Woodstock Duty Free store, travel through Maine and overnight near the New Hampshire - Massachusettes border.

Day 2. We stay at one of our favorite hotels in central Pennsylvania and enjoy an Amish-style dinner buffet with time to browse through the extensive gift shop on site.

Day 3. Travelling past Cleveland and Toledo, our journey takes us to western Ohio, where we stay at one of our favorite hotels with a delicious dinner buffet ‘in the barn’.

Day 4. Breakfast under the ‘oak tree’ this morning, then we travel into Indiana, go south of Lake Michigan and Chicago, Illinois, north into Wisconsin, America's dairyland, with its numerous farms, past Madison and to the community of Tomah for overnight.

Day 5. We cross the Mississippi River to Minnisota, through rolling hills, and flowing rivers, the state of Paul Bunyan and Tall Trees, pass the twin cities of Minniapolis - St. Paul to our hotel for the night in the midwest in Fargo, North Dakota.

Day 6. Travelling north, through the RedRiver Valley into Manitoba, to Winnipeg, west past Portage La Prarie, on the Assiniboine River, amid rich farm lands, Brandon, centere of Manitoba's farmland with miles of sunflowers and wheat, spend the night in Virden.

Day 7. We journey west along the Trans Canada, past flax fields of blue and canola fields of bright yellow into Saskatchewan. Past Moose Jaw, Canada's largest jet training base, and home of the aerobatic team, the Snowbirds, with its underground tunnels, and Swift Current, into Albertya and arrive in the rodeo city of Medicine Hat for the night. We'll see the Saamis Teepee, the worlds tallest monument to the native people.

Day 8. Travelling west, past the stampede city of Calgary, to the foothils of the Rocky Mountains, we arrive at Banff National Park and enjoy a short drive to see the emerald waters of Lake Loise and the beautiful Chateau in all its grandeur, shadowed by Mount Victoria. Later We'll check into our downtown hotel in Banff for 2 nights.

Day 9. Enjoy a ‘day on your own’, Restaurants, shopping and many attractions are within walking distance of our hotel in this busy little community, where the elk are found along the streets. Take a gondola up the mountain, or visit the local museums.

Day 10. We'll journey up the scenic Icefields Parkway, stop at Sunwapta Pass, the boundary between Banff and Jasper National parks and the highest elevation on this magnificent drive in the central Rocky Mountains. We'll see the tumbling waters of the Athabaska Falls, and stop at the Icefields Center. We'll have lunch here, later boarding a ‘sno coach’ for an excursion to walk on the mantle of ice 12 feet thick, part of the giant Columbia Icefield. Later we'll spend the night near Jasper.

Day 11. We travel along one of the most scenic drives in North America, the Yellowhead Highway, to the Yellowhead Pass as we cross into British Columbia, past Mount Robson, highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. We travel along the Fraser River, on the watch for bear, past Prince George to Smithers, known as Little Switzerland, dominated by the Hudson Bay Mountain, for overnight.

Day 12. We'll arrive in Prince Rupert early afternoon, have som free time before we board the Alaska State Ferry to begin our cruise on the Inside Passage, in the Gulf of Alaska. We stop at various ports along the way. Our ports today should include Ketchikan, famous for its totem poles, Wrangell, famous for salmon fishing and Petersburg, where whales are sighted. Because of the high demand, singles may have to share a cabin on the ferry. Our cabins are guaranteed, but depend on bookings and names, so the earlier everyone books the better it will be.

Day 13. Our route today will take us to Juneau, the state capitol, nestled below snowcapped mountains, and Haines with its native culture and eagle preserve.

Day 14. We'll arrive in Skagway this morning. On arrival, a guide will meet us for a tour of the area, seeing the quaint Gold Rush Cemetary, giving us an overview of many of the historic buildings. We'll spend time in the downtown area for boarding the narrow guage White Pass & Yukon Railway for a memorable breath-taking journey over skyhigh trestles, past rippling waterfalls and craggy cliffs, one of the world's most scenic train rides. We'll arrive in Fraser, B.C., board our coach, travel the south Klondike Highway, with beautiful views of the Tormented Valley, a rocky desolate ‘moonscape’ of stunted trees and small lakes. We'll se the  ‘Welcome to Yukon’ sign and watch for goats and dall sheep on nearby mountains. We'll stop in Carcross, at the historic Mountie Barracks, which has native crafts. We pass Whitehorse, on the watch for grizzlies and elk an on into Haines Junction for the night, stop to take a picture of the village wildlife monument.

Day 15. We watch for elk and open range livestock, as the rugged snow-capped peaks of the Kluane Icefield Range comes into view. Then we'll make a stop at the Sheep Mountain Visitors Center, past Kluane Lake and Beaver Creek, crossing into Alaska and on to the busy crossroads community of Tok for overnight.

Day 16. We travel south on the Glenn Highway past Menasta Lake and Mountains, along the Wrangell St. Elias National Park, pas Glenallen and Sheep Mountain, home of the Dall Sheep, to Anchorage, the largest city in Alaska, for three nights. We'll see the Chocolate Waterfall with dinner at the Sourdough Mining Restaurant. A guide will join us for an Anchorage Highlight tour, including Lake Hood, the world's largest seaplane base, Log Cabin Vistor Center, the ‘Crossroads of the World’ signpost, and more!

Day 17. We'll drive on the Seward Highway, along the waters of the Turnagain Arm, through Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel, the longest highway tunnel in North America. We arive in Whittier, and cruise the calm waters of Prince William Sound, which has the densest concentration of tidewater glaciers in the world. Enjoy commentary by guides as we cruise through iceberg spotted waters, past spectacular waterfalls, towering glaciers that groan and creak, and maybe see otters, puffins, sea lions and whales.

Day 18. Enjoy a leisurely day ‘on your own’, shopping and restaurants ar just a short walk away, or explore the diverse attractions in this colourful city.

Day 19. We travel the Parks Highway along Denali National Park, known for its numerous wildlife, and Mount McKinley, the highest peak in North America, stopping in Wasilla to visit the headquarters of the famousIditarod dog-sled race, on to the city of Fairbanks for two nights. We'll stop at Santa Claus House in North Pole, Alaska, and browse through their extensive gift shop. For dinner, we'll go to Alaskaland for a delicious salmon, halibut or cod dinner, and the Golden Heart Review ath the Palace Theater.

Day 20. We'll board the authentic sternwheeler ‘The Riverboat Discovery’ for a leisurely full narrated cruise on the Chena and Tanana Rivers. Meet some native Alaskans at the Chena Indian Athabascan village, watch a bush pilot take off from a grassy strip along the river. See Susan Butcher's home and sled dogs that won the famous Iditarod Racw, see the native fish wheels. Visit the Discovery Trading Post, an extensive gift shop. Later we'll enjoy a guided tour of the higlights of this famous Alaskan city.

Day 21. We travel the Richardson Highway, along the Tanana River, stopping in Delta Junction, see the Pipelin as it follows the highway and take in the‘End of the Alaska Highway’ sign. Then we'll drive across the  ‘Top of the World’ higway, a mountain highway above the tree line, stopping at the quaint community of Chicken. We'll take a ferry across the Yukon River to gold rush country where the gold rush began in 1898, in the heart of the Klondike, Dawson City, where we'll stay for 3 nights. This evening we'll visit the Dome viewpoint overlooking the city, with incredible views of the Klondike and Yukon River valeys, and enjoy the Midnight Sun.

Day 22. This morning weel enjoy a tour, see the cabins of Pierre Burton, Jack London and Robert Service. We'll ‘pan for gold’ at a local mining claim site. This evening, join the fun at Diamons Tooth Gertie's Saloon, Canada's oldest and most unique casino, complete with a honkytonk piano and cancan girls.

Day 23 Enjoy the day to do as you wish in this town of restored historic buildings and board sidewalks. When gold was discovered near here in 1896, one hundred thousand stampeders set out to make their fortune in the northern goldfields. Shop for gold nugget jewellery or attend a recital of poetry by Robert Service, all within walking distance of our hotel.

Day 24. We'll make a stop at the historic Moose Creek Lodge, Carmacks, on the Yukon River, to view the dangerous Five Finger Rapids, and Lake Laberge, made famous by Robert Service's poen ‘The Creation of Sam Magee’. We arrive in Whitehorse where this evening we'll enjoy the famous Whitehorse Frantic Follies.

Day 25. Enjoy today to do as you wish, visiting museums or shopping for local crafts.

Day 26. We travel the Alaska Highway along the Cassiar Mountains. We pass The Inn on the Lake where ‘Martha Stewart Living’ was filmed. We'll stop at the overlook of Miles Canyon, called the Grand Canyon by highway workers. We pass Teslin, which has one of the largest native population in the Yukon. We'll stop at the pullout for the Continental Divide sign, before arriving in Watson Lake for overnight. While here, see the Sign Post Forest started by a homesick soldier in 1942 while building the Alcan Highway. Bring your own sign from home and leave a part of yourself in the Yukon.

Day 27. Our journey takes us along the Liard River, through the northern Canadian Rockies, stopping at beautiful Muncho Lake, where the Northern Rockies Lodge sits as the largest and newest log building on the Alaska Highway. We pass Summit Mountain Provincial Park, on the watch for buffalo, caribou and stone sheep, on our way to Fort Nelson, which began as a fur trading post, for the night.

Day 28. We pass several natural gas wells and pipelines, Trutch Mountain, Fort St. John and Peace River Valley past rolling farmland on our way to Dawson Creek, B.C., for the night. We'll take a picture of the Mile 0 Marker for the Alaska Highway, and stop at the Alaska Highway House that has exhibits of the building of this famous highway.

Day 29. We'll stop at Beaver Lodge and see one of the most spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains and river valleys in Canada, and take a picture of the 15 foot high metal beaver on a 19 foot log, pass Grande Prarie and Whitecourt on our way to Edmonton, Alberta, with 2 nights at the Fantasyland Hotel at the huge West Edmonton Mall.

Day 30. Enjoy this day to do as you wish exploring the world's largest shopping and entertainment complex. With a waterpark, an indoor skating rink, deep sea adventure, and hundreds of stores, numerous restaurants, there's lots to do.

Day 31. We travel east, stopping at Vegreville, whose Ukranian culture is symbolized by a giant colourful pysanka egg. We travel through Lloydminister on the Alberta and Saskatchewan border, which is the longest straight surveyed line in North America, the 4th meridian. We cross the province's longest bridge over the North Saskatchewan River to the community of North Battleford for the night.

Day 32. We travel past the prarie city of bridges, Saskatoon, past praries dotted by tall grain elevators. We stop in the capitol city of Regina at the RCMP Heritage Centre, on our way to overnight in Weyburn, a thriving community surrounded by the wealth of oil, grain and cattle industries.

Day 33. Travelling south we cross into North Dakota, travel through the Theodore National Park, stopping at the scenic badlands overlook, before stopping in the little cowtown of Medora. This evening we'll enjoy the Pitchfork Fondu (a delicious steak dinner) followed by the Medora Musical in a natural outdoor amphitheater. 

Day 34. We travel south to the scenic Black Hills, stopping at Mount Rushmore National Memorial, where the faces of four presidents carved in rock loom over the landscape. We'll look at the Crazy Horse Memorial, which will be the world's largest sculpture, before stopping for an overnight in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Day 35. Travelling east, through the badlands, we stop at the famous Wall Drugstore, the world's largest drug store, which has become a huge gift shop. We'll be crossing the Missouri River and stopping at the Moorish style Corn Palace, decorated with 3000 bushels of corn and grasses each year. We'll overnight in southern Minnesota.

Day 36. We'll stop in Blue Earth to see the tall statue of the Jolly Green Giant, cross the Mississippi River to Wisconsin, travel south and overnighting at a historic and scenic Lodge in central Illinois. Enjoy a delicious dinner and browse through the gift shops.

Day 37. Our eastward journey takes us south of Chicago, into Ohio, past rolling farmlands and fields of corn, past Toledo and Cleveland to Ashtabula for the night.

Day 38. We travel through New York State, along the scenic Mohawk River and Erie Canal to our favourite hotel near Albany beside the Cracker Barrel Restaurant & Old Country Store.

Day 39. We'll travel into Massachusetts in the Berkshire Mountains, stop at some of our favourite shopping venues on our way to Waterville, where we'll have our farewell dinner.

Day 40. Homeward bound with memories of our exciting adventure to the Canadian Praries, Northern British Columbia, Alberta, Alaska and the Yukon.

Day 1. We leave the Maritimes, stop at the Woodstock Duty Free store, stop in Houlton for lunch, travel through Maine, enjoy a buffet dinner and spend our first night on the road in our favorite hotel near the New Hampshire/Massachusetts border.

Day 2. Traveling through Connecticut into New York State, we arrive late afternoon in midtown Manhattan in the Big Apple, New York City for 4 nights. Our centrally located hotel is within walking distance of Times Square, Rockefeller Center, the Theatre District, shopping and restaurants. We'll enjoy a Broadway play this evening.

Day 3. This morning we'll have a local guide join us for the tour of the city seeing Ground Zero, Wall Street, Empire State Building, Battery Park, Central Park and Trump Tower. You'll find out where the celebrities live as we travel through the city, past Strawberry Fields, a small garden dedicated to John Lennon, and see the different neighborhoods like Soho and Chinatown. We'll stop for lunch at South Street Seaport. This evening we'll enjoy a Broadway play (to be announced later) at a midtown theatre.

Day 4. Mid-morning we'll take a cruise around the New York Harbor, going under some of the bridges, and around the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. You can get take some really good photos of the skyline of New York City as well as famous landmarks. We'll stop for lunch at the food court at a local mall, take time to shop at Macy's Department store, nearby discount stores or visit the Empire State Building. Early evening we'll visit the Top of the Rock viewing area at the top of Rockefeller Center. You'll be in elegant surroundings as you experience the amazing Target Breezeway, see the Crystal Wall, and the Chandelier in the Foyer.

Day 5. Enjoy a day to 'do as you wish', maybe get up early and be part of the audience at the Today Show. Take a walk or a carriage ride in Central Park. Tours are available at CBS and NBC Studios or visit the NBC Experience Store. Take a ride on the subway, visit Chinatown or some other neighborhood. Look for the Web Cam in Times Square, call your family at home to turn on the computer, and stand in front of the camera and wave to them. Do some Bargain shopping with the Vendors along the street.

Day 6. We leave New York this morning to travel to Boston, where we'll enjoy dinner at a local restaurant then enjoy a play at a local theatre.

Day 7. We'll visit the Christmas Tree Shop for bargains and unique items at the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, on our way to Waterville, Maine for a farewell buffet group dinner.

Day 8. Homeward bound, lunch in Houlton, stop at the Duty Free store in Houlton, cross the border with many happy memories of our autumn tour to New York City and Boston.

Day 1. We leave the Maritimes, cross into Maine and overnight in Massachusetts.

Day 2. Traveling through the New England States, New York and New Jersey, we'll stay at our favorite hotel in central Pennsylvania, where we'll enjoy a delicious dinner buffet with time to shop at the extensive gift shop on site.

Day 3. We cross Ohio, overnighting at a favorite hotel, with dinner in the old barn.

Day 4. This morning we'll visit several gardens in Northern Indiana that have been planted with flowers in various quilt patterns, in the Amish area of the state. Later we'll visit a local gift and craft store, then travel south past Indianapolis to spend the night.

Day 5. We travel past Terre Haute, into Illinois past the Big Cross In Effingham, and the Arch in St. Louis., Missouri. We'll overnight in the town of Rolla.

Day 6. We arrive in the music capitol of Branson mid-morning, stop at the Branson Mall then enjoy the music of Shoji Tabuchi at his elaborate theatre, this afternoon. After a delicious dinner we'll enjoy the high energy toe-tappin' Clay Cooper show.

Day 7. We'll have time for lunch and shopping before attending Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Sight and Sound Theatre. Then board the Showboat Branson Belle for dinner and entertainment on Table Rock Lake.

Day 8. We'll spend some time in downtown Branson for lunch and shopping at the many shops as well as a five and dime store. Later we'll see 2 shows (not confirmed yet).

Day 9. Enjoy a relaxing morning, then we'll visit a nearby Outlet Mall, later we'll see 2 shows that are on the agenda for today. (waiting for confirmation)

Day 10. We leave Branson this morning, cross the countryside in Missouri to Sikeston, and have a fun and tasty dinner at the "Home of the Throwed Rolls."

Day 11. We'll cross through the Illinois/Kentucky where the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers meet. We'll cross Kentucky, seeing some horse farms and overnight in Lexington.

Day 12. We'll travel one of the most scenic drives in the country through West Virginia and then the top of Maryland and spend the night in Cumberland.

Day 13. We'll journey north through Pennsylvania into New York state to our hotel near Albany. Dinner tonight is at the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Restaurant.

Day 14. We'll stop at some of our favorite shopping venues on our way to Waterville,, Maine for our last night on the road where we'll enjoy a farewell dinner and entertainment.

Day 15 Homeward bound with memories of our musical tour to Branson.

OKTOBERFEST KITCHENER-WATERLOO

OCTOBER 10 - 18, 2010

Day 1. We leave the Maritimes, travel along the Saint John River, cross into the province our Quebec with an overnight in Quebec City, and later enjoy a dinner buffet.

Day 2. Traveling through Quebec, we pass Montreal to Gananoque. We'll take a relaxing cruise on the St. Lawrence River to see the very picturesque Thousand Islands, shared with the United States, this afternoon and we'll overnight nearby.

Day 3. We travel past the super city of Toronto, see the CN Tower high in the sky, to stay in Kitchener-Waterloo, the Oktoberfest city, for 4 nights.

Day 4. After a leisurely morning, a guide will join us for a tour through the rolling countryside, to see some of the Mennonite farms in the area. Then the festivities begin at Oktoberfest which is North America's largest Bavarian Festival. This evening we'll attend one of the local German clubs known as Festhalles and enjoy a traditional German dinner and a live polka band and dancers.

Day 5. We'll spend some time downtown to visit Hans Haus to get official Oktoberfest souvenirs and see the colorful costumes, visit the exhibits and local stores. Later we'll relax at our hotel, then have a Bavarian style dinner and live music with dancers and band members in colorful costumes at another local festhalle.

Day 6. This morning we'll visit St. Jacobs Farmers Market and Flea Market, where many of the local Mennonite folk sell their produce and crafts. Shop for socks, jewelery, t-shirts clothes and more!! Have lunch there or go across the street to the Outlet Mall which has several stores and a small food court upstairs. (Watch for horse and buggies) Later we'll go to the quaint little town of St. Jacobs, one of the favorite places to shop in Ontario. Then its back to the hotel with dinner included at a local restaurant.

Day 7. We'll travel past the super city of Toronto on our way to our favorite hotel in Cornwall, Ontario. We'll enjoy a group dinner tonight at the hotel.

Day 8. We enter Quebec passing Montreal on our way to Riviere du Loup for overnight. Enjoy a farewell group dinner this evening.

Day 9. Homeward bound with memories of Oktoberfest in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Day 1. We leave the Maritimes, travel through Maine, and overnight in Massachusetts.

Day 2. Traveling west through the New England States, we spend the night in Central Pennsylvania, and have an Amish-style buffet with time to browse through the gift shop.

Day 3. Traveling into Ohio, we go south of Columbus to Jeffersonville for the night.

Day 4. Our journey takes us south to Cincinnati, across Indiana, cross the Mississippi River, into Missouri to Sikeston and enjoy dinner at the "Home of The Throwed Rolls."

Day 5. We travel across Arkansas, past Little Rock to the border of Texas in Texarkana.

Day 6. We'll travel south to Shreveport, Louisiana, then make a stop in Carthage at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame and Tex Ritter Museum. The museum pays tribute to Lefty Frizzell, Willie Nelson, Jim Reeves, Dale Evans, Gene Autry and more! We'll arrive in Dallas just after lunch and make our way to the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. Shop at a Western Wear Store, or Ernest Tubb Record Store. Watch the daily cattle drive, We'll visit Billy Bob's the World's Famous Largest Honky Tonk, then we'll check into our hotel in Dallas for 3 nights.

Day 7. Enjoy the morning to relax. This afternoon we'll visit JR's South Fork Ranch, tour the house and grounds for a trip down memory lane and visit the gift shop for a souvenir.

Day 8. Mid-morning, we'll leave for a city tour, with a stop at the Sixth Floor Museum that honors John F. Kennedy. We'll stop at the Cattle Drive through Dallas Sculptures of cowboys and a larger than life herd of steers, great place for a picture. We'll see the sky-scrapers, and unique buildings in this city that was built by oil interests.

Day 9. We'll leave Dallas this morning, and make a stop at Willie's Place home of the Night Life Theatre home to Willie's Place Sirius Satellite Radio Studios, Channel 13XM/64 Sirius broadcasting live every day, and the blue Skies Cafe and convenient store, and the Walk of Fame. We'll make a stop in Austin at the Broken Spoke Dancehall for a break and visit the tourist trap room for picture memories of Bob Wills, Dolly Parton, George Strait and more legends that have played in this legendary venue. Then we'll drive to San Antonio to our hotel on the river walk, for 3 nights, within walking of many shops and restaurants.

Day 10. This morning we'll see Imax film "Price of Freedom", then visit the Alamo. We'll leave town stopping for lunch in the little German town of Fredericksburg. Then we'll make a stop at the old General Store in Luckenbach, made famous by Willie and Waylon and the boys. Later we'll enjoy a cruise along Paseo del Rio, known as the Riverwalk.

Day 11. Enjoy today to 'do as you please', with many things to do within walking distance.

Day 12. We travel past Houston into Louisiana with an overnight in Lafayette.

Day 13. We'll drive through New Orleans, and Mississippi and to Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Day 14. Traveling north we pass Chattanooga, and Knoxville, Tennessee to Bristol.

Day 15. Our journey takes us through the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia to Hershey, Pa.

Day 16. We travel through Pennsylvania into New York State to the area of Albany.

Day 17. We visit some of our favorite shopping venues on our way to Waterville, Maine

Day 18. Home with memories of our Texas Music Trail to San Antonio.

Day 1. We leave the Maritimes, travel through Maine and overnight in Massachusetts.

Day 2. Traveling through the New England States, we then overnight in Central Pennsylvania, where we'll enjoy a buffet dinner with time to browse in the gift shop.

Day 3. We journey south though Pennsylvania, cross the Mason Dixon Line to Maryland, travel south through the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, between the Allegheny and Blue Ridge Mountains to overnight in Bristol on the Virginia/Tennessee border.

Day 4. We travel west past Knoxville, arriving in Nashville, where we'll spend 3 nights. This evening we'll enjoy the Nashville Nightlife Dinner Theatre near our hotel.

Day 5. Relax this morning, then we'll enjoy a city tour, seeing the homes of the stars, have lunch at the Wild Horse Saloon, visit the Ryman Auditorium and Country Music Hall of Fame. Later we'll relax at the hotel, then go to the world famous Grand Ole Opry for the evening. We'll enjoy driving by the many lights on the trees at the Opryland hotel.

Day 6. Relax this morning, enjoy lunch and holiday show on the General Jackson Showboat on a cruise on the Cumberland River. We'll visit the Opryland Hotel with nine acres of lush indoor gardens, a 44 foot waterfall and river running through the Delta. We'll enjoy giant ice sculptures and see the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, with the Living Nativity and Parade of the Wood Soldiers routines.

Day 7. We leave Nashville this morning and travel to Gatlinburg, the prettiest little town in the Smokey Mountains, where we'll spend the next 3 nights. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance of our hotel. This evening we'll drive through and enjoy the millions of lights here and in nearby Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.

Day 8. Relax this morning. Later we'll visit Dollywood lit up for the season, with dinner at one of the restaurants at the park. Enjoy the many variety of shows and numerous crafts people in Craftsmens Valley in this special holiday season.

Day 9. Enjoy a day on your own. Take a tram ride Ober Gatlinburg, or the Space Needle.

Day 10. We leave Gatlinburg, and Tennessee, travel through the Shenandoah Valley to Virginia, and east with an overnight in Richmond.

Day 11. We'll arrive in Virginia Beach this afternoon. After dinner, we'll board the coach for a drive on the boardwalk to see over 250 animated and holiday light displays.

Day 12. This morning we'll cross the amazing Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnels and go to Ocean City, Maryland. This evening we'll attend Winterfest of Lights boarding the Tram gliding past twinkling lighted displays. South on the coastal highway we'll drive through the Tunnel of Lights, part of the area display of over 1 million lights.

Day 13. We'll travel through Maryland and Delaware, north to New York State and to the area of Albany for overnight. Dinner is at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant next door.

Day 14. We'll make a few stops on our way to Waterville and our farewell dinner.

Day 15. Homeward bound with memories of our holiday light tour to Tennessee.
