Day 1. We leave the
Maritimes, travel through Maine and overnight in Massachusetts.
Day 2. We travel through
the New England States & spend the night in northeast Maryland.
Day 3. We drive past
Baltimore & Washington DC, south through Virginia with an
overnight in Lumberton, North Carolina, where the weather should be
quite a lot warmer.
Day 4. We travel past
South Carolina, through Georgia and stop at the Florida Welcome Center
to sample fresh orange and grapefruit juice. Then we’re off to the
historic old city of St. Augustine, have dinner before checking into
our hotel for the night.
Day 5. We’ll make a stop
in Orlando for lunch, travel to St. Pete’s Beach and spend nights at
our hotel with oceanfront rooms overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
Day 6. We’ll enjoy
shopping for bargains at over 1000 booths at the‘Wagon Wheel Flea
Market this morning and take time for lunch while we’re there.
Day 7. We'll take a
short drive to Sarasota, visiting the palatial estate of the
Ringling’s, where you will tour the dazzling ornate mansion, gardens
and circus museum, then stop at a local Amish restaurant for a
delicious buffet dinner.
Day 8. A short drive
will bring us to the Greek community of Tarpon Springs where we will
have time ‘on your own’ for shopping and lunch. Later we will shop at a
Bon Worth store and have dinner at a local buffet restaurant before
going back to our hotel.
Day 9. Enjoy a day ‘on
your own’, visit the shops across the street or relax by the pool. The
local trolley stops just outside our door, if you wish to visit other
attractions or shopping mall.
Day 10. We willl visit
the Florida Aquarium, where you will enjoy the fish at the Florida
Springs, ducks, and alligators at the Saw Grass Marsh area. See turtles
and otters while in the Mangrove Forest, herons, egrets share the
mangrove area with crocodiles.
Day 11. We will drive to
Orlando and Kissimmee, stop at a local outlet mall for lunch and
shopping, than check into our centrally located hotel for two nights.
Day 12. We will drive a
short distance to the community of Sanford for a leisurely and
informative luncheon cruise on the St. John’s River on the River Ship
Romance.
Day 13. We leave
Florida, drive past Savannah on our way to our favorite hotel that is
attached to a mall, in the coastal city of Brunswick, Georgia.
Day 14. Northwestward we
will drive, through South Carolina past Columbia, stopping in the area
of Winston Salem, in North Carolina for overnight.
Day 15. We travel to
Virginia, through the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, between the Blue
Ridge and Alleghany mountains to Winchester for the night.
Day 16. Our journey
takes us into New York State where we will travel to the Albany area,
where our hotel is next the Cracker Barrel Restaurant and Old Country
Store.
Day 17. We will stop at
some of our favorite shopping venues on our way to Waterville, Maine
where we will enjoy a farewell dinner with evening entertainment.
Day 18. Homeward bound
with memories of our Florida Winter Vacation.

Day 1. We leave the
Maritimes this morning, cross into Maine and overnight in Massachusetts.
Day 2. We cross the New
England States, past the Skyline of New York City, on our way to
Newark, New Jersey for the night.
Day 3. Early afternoon
we'll arrive at Cape Liberty Cruise Port in New Jersey, board the
magnificent Explorer of the Seas for 9 Nights on the Eastern Caribbean
Cruise. Get settled into your room, and start to explore the incredible
ship. Be on deck when we leave to see the Statue of Liberty in the
harbour.
Day 4. Our first day at
sea, with so much to do and see. This ship has a passenger capacity of
3000. Enjoy the casino, go ice skating in the rink, enjoy evening
ice-skating shows with professional skaters. In-line skating, a
climbing wall, basketball court, golf simulators, fitness centre, day
spa and miniature golf course are all yours to enjoy or just watch.
Enjoy dinner in the dining room this evening.
Day 5. Another day at
sea. This is still much to see. Several themed bars and lounges, an
Italian restaurant and Johnny Rockets 50's style restaurant. Stroll
through the Royal Promenade lined with unique shops and areas to just
relax.
Day 6. This afternoon
we'll arrive in San Juan, Puerto Rico. One of the largest islands in
the Eastern Caribbean, where we'll dock until 11:30 PM. You'll have
time to take an excursion to the Rain Forest, or explore Old San Juan.
The temperature here should be between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
Day 7. This morning at
8:00AM we will arrive in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. This is a great
place to shop for duty free trinkets, jewelry and crystal or ride on
the Skyline Drive to view the harbor or take a tour of the area. We
leave here at 5:30 PM.
Day 8. Samana, in the
Dominican Republic is our enjoyment from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, where
tenders will take us to shore. The rainforest and mangrove reserves are
of most importance to the Caribbean. Samana Bay is a great place to
watch for humpback whales when they migrate to this area. You can also
tour the town of Las Terranas.
Day 9. At 7:00 AM, we'll
be in Labadee, Haiti, and will be docked until 4:00PM. We're on the
north cost of Hispaniola, surrounded by beautiful mountain slopes and
exotic foliage. Enjoy the sandy beaches and coral reefs.
Day 10. We're out to sea
again, giving you lots of time to explore this floating palace. We'll
also have a memory making group photo to take here. Enjoy this
magnificent ship.
Day 11. Lots of bargains
as we make our way to sea to Cape Liberty, New Jersey. Enjoy final
moments at the ice-skating shows, musical shows or the meals in the
beautiful dining room.
Day 12. We arrive in
Cape Liberty this morning, make our departure and drive to Waterville,
Maine for this evening.
Day 13. Home with
memories of our nine days on the magnificent Eastern Caribbean Cruise.

MARCH 10 - APRIL 1, 2011
Day 1. We leave the
Maritimes, heading
south, and overnight in Massachusetts.
Day 2. We travel the New
England states,
past Delaware to stay in central Maryland.
Day 3. Traveling south
through Virginia,
cross into North Carolina to Salisbury tonight.
Day 4. We journey to
South Carolina into
the Deep South and past the sprawling city of Atlanta, Georgia, and
Birmingham to overnight in Bessemer, Alabama.
Day 5. We travel through
Mississippi,
Alabama and spend the night in Shreveport, LA.
Day 6. We cross into
Texas past Dallas,
and Abilene to overnight in Sweetwater.
Day 7. We pass Midland
and Odessa, follow
the Rio Grande and arrive in the Spanish Mexican city of El Paso, with
Juarez Mexico just across the river.
Day 8. We arrive in
southern Arizona, stop
in Tombstone to see the OK Corral as it was in the 1880’s, where Wyatt
Earp had his famous gunfight. We spend 3 nights in Tucson.
Day 9. Enjoy a day ‘on
your own’ to relax,
or visit the shopping mall across the street.
Day 10. This morning we
will visit the
Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, which is a world-renowned zoo, museum and
botanical garden all in one place. Sights and sounds abound as you walk
the desert paths. We will visit Old Tucson Studios where numerous
movies have been made. The Story Museum has original costumes worn by
the stars of Bonanza and Little House on the Prairie and the Old Reno
Locomotive seen in over 100 films. Shop at the Last outpost and
McLintock’s Store, named for a John Wayne movie.
Day 11. Mid-morning, we
will check out of
our hotel and be in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area, better known as the
Valley of the Sun. After lunch we will meet a local guide for a tour,
see Arizona State University, the State Capitol, Biltmore Resort, and
former home of Paul Harvey. Later we will check into our hotel for 3
nights.
Day 12. Enjoy today ‘on
your own’. Relax
around the pool or stroll through nearby shops.
Day 13. After a
leisurely morning, we will
enjoy spectacular scenery from an old fashioned steamboat on Saguaro
Lake. Later we will have dinner at the Mining Camp Restaurant.
Day 14. We can’t leave
Arizona without
seeing the Grand Canyon. We arrive at the South Rim and our hotel is
within walking of the dining hall and several view points.
Day 15. We travel into
New Mexico and
overnight in the community of Albuquerque which has the famous Route 66
running through the old downtown area.
Day 16. Through New
Mexico, past Clines
Corners, the Texas Panhandle, past Amarillo and the scenic Cadillac
Ranch on our way to Oklahoma and overnight in Clinton.
Day 17. Our journey
today takes us through
Arkansas to Little Rock for the night.
Day 18. Mid morning we
will stop in
Memphis for a tour of Graceland. We will check into our hotel in
Nashville then enjoy evening at the Nashville Nightlife Dinner Theatre.
Day 19. Traveling
through Tennessee into
Virginia with an overnight in Roanoke.
Day 20. We journey
through the Shenandoah
Valley into Pennsylvania to our favorite hotel with an extensive gift
shop and enjoy a tasty buffet Amish-style dinner.
Day 21. We travel north
into New York
State, stop in Cooperstown at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and
spend the night near Albany and eat at the Cracker Barrel.
Day 22. We stop at some
favorite shopping
venues on our way to Waterville tonight.
Day 23. Homeward bound
with warm memories
of our sunny Arizona holiday.

Day 1. We leave the
Maritimes, cross into
Maine and overnight at our hotel in Massachusetts.
Day 2. Traveling through
the New England
states, we'll overnight in northern Maryland.
Day 3. We travel south
through Virginia
stopping at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens for lunch. Enjoy the
spectacular tulip and daffodil blooms in these beautiful award winning
landscaped gardens, reflective lakes and 63 foot tall classical domed
conservatory. We will spend the night in the central east area of North
Carolina.
Day 4. We arrive in
Myrtle Beach around
lunchtime, stop at the local Walmart for shopping then check into our
oceanfront hotel for 6 nights. After dinner enjoy a walk on the beach,
or sit on your private balcony that overlooks the ocean.
Day 5. A local guide
will join us for a
tour of the area. Later we will stop at Barefoot Landing for shopping
and lunch. This evening we will enjoy dinner then go to the Palace
Theatre to enjoy Le Grande Cirque show with incredible, magical and
amazing acts.
Day 6. Enjoy a leisurely
breakfast, then
mid afternoon we will see the talented look-a-like impersonators
perform the music of current and past stars, such as Marilyn Monroe or
the King of Rock and Roll-Elvis Presley at the Legends Theatre. Then
it’s off to a Calabash Buffet for dinner. Later we will enjoy the high
energy musical entertainment of country to classic hits and gospel at
the Carolina Opry.
Day 7. Enjoy a free
morning to ‘do your
own’ thing. Later we will go for lunch and some shopping at a local
outlet mall. Back to the hotel, later we will go for dinner at a local
restaurant. Then we will see “One” the show at the Alabama Theatre with
stunning costumes, and toe tapping variety of music and vocals.
Day 8. After the
breakfast buffet, a local
guide will join us for a short drive to Wilmington, North Carolina.
Enjoy the River Walk with wooden walkways, pocket parks and markers
showing Cape Fear’s history and natural beauty. More than 200 shops and
restaurants are located nearby for your shopping pleasure and lunch ‘on
your own’. A local guide will join us for a city tour and we will learn
of its history, see buildings on the National Register of Historic
Places, the deep water port and movie filming sites, then travel back
to Myrtle Beach.
Day 9. Today is yours to
do as your wish.
The trolley stops out front of the hotel if you wish to go to a local
mall or attractions on your own. You may want to visit the shopping
complex just across the street, or dine at one of the restaurants
within walking distance.
Day 10. We travel north
along the scenic
semi-coastal route through small towns, to the Chesapeake area of
Virginia for the night.
Day 11. This morning we
will cross the
awesome Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, traveling through the countryside
of eastern Virginia and Maryland, than crossing the Delaware Memorial
Bridge on our way to New Jersey for tonight.
Day 12. We travel north
through New Jersey
to Massachusetts and overnight in Springfield.
Day 13. We will stop at
some of our
favorite shopping venues on our way to Waterville, Maine for our last
night’s farewell dinner and entertainment.

with memories of

SPRINGTIME IN NEW
YORK
APRIL 27 - MAY 4, 2011
Day 1. We leave the
Maritimes, stop at the
Duty Free, travel through Maine and enjoy a buffet dinner, than we’re
off for a short drive to New Hampshire and then Massachusetts for our
first nights stay on the road.
Day 2. We journey to the
Big Apple, New
York City where we will arrive late afternoon in midtown Manhattan,
check into our hotel near Times Square for 4 nights. Our centrally
located hotel is within walking distance of the Theatre District,
shopping, restaurants and Rockefeller Center. Tonight we will enjoy a
Broadway play (to be announced at a later date).
Day 3. A guide will join
us for a city
tour this morning, and we will see Trump Tower, Winter Garden, Ground
Zero, Empire State Building, Wall Street and the area of Soho. We will
take a walk in Central Park to see Strawberry Fields, the small garden
area dedicated to the memory of John Lennon. Later we will have time
for lunch and shopping at the pier at South Street Seaport. Tonight we
will enjoy another Broadway Play (to be announced later).
Day 4. Enjoy the skyline
of New York City
on a narrated cruise in the harbor. You will travel around the Statue
of Liberty, see the Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island, the Intrepid
aircraft carrier, possibly some cruise ships and more! Later we’ll see
the Top of the Rock view atop Rockefeller Center, as well as the Target
Breezeway and the Crystal Wall.
Day 5. Have a day off to
explore this
exciting city ‘on your own’. Shop at Macy’s, take a carriage ride in
Central Park, or visit the many street vendors selling their watches
and purses. Take a tour of NBC Studios, or look for the Webcam in Times
Square, call your family at home to turn on the computer, stand in
front of the camera and wave to them. Take a subway to Yankee Stadium
for a baseball game (if scheduled).
Day 6. We will leave New
York this morning
and travel to the Boston area for overnight. On the way we will stop at
a Bon Worth Store and get some bargains at the Christmas Tree Shop. We
will have dinner and check into our hotel.
Day 7. Stopping at some
of our shopping
venues, we will make our way to Waterville, Maine tonight, where we
will enjoy a farewell group dinner.
Day 8. Homeward bound
with memories of our
New York tour.

Day 1. We leave the
Maritimes and
overnight in Massachusetts for our first night on the road.
Day 2. Traveling through
the New England
States, we overnight in central Pennsylvania where our hotel has a
delicious buffet dinner, and an extensive gift shop for your enjoyment.
Day 3. Traveling south
along the
Susquehanna River, we cross the Mason-Dixon line to Maryland, then
through the beautiful Shenandoah Valley between the Alleghany and Blue
Ridge
Mountains to overnight
in Abingdon,
Virginia.
Day 4. We leave
Virginia, crossing into
Tennessee and spend 3 nights in Nashville, the home of Country Music,
where our hotel is within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
This evening we will enjoy food and fun at the Nashville Nightlife
Dinner Theatre.
Day 5. A local guide
will join us for a
city tour, seeing the Homes of the Stars, Country Music Hall of Fame,
Ryman Auditorium, Parthenon, Music Row, and the Wildhorse saloon. This
evening we will spend some time at the Opry complex with time to visit
the Museum and then enjoy a performance at the world famous Grand Ole
Opry.
Day 6. We will visit the
Opryland Hotel,
with it‘s magnificent lush gardens and trees under glass, then take a
cruise on the General Jackson Riverboat, on the Cumberland River.
Day 7. We will travel to
Memphis this
morning, have lunch at the shopping complex across from Graceland then
visit and tour the former home of Elvis Presley, seeing his cars and
planes as well, later checking into our hotel.
Day 8. We travel north
through the Ozark
Mountains in Arkansas to Branson, Missouri, the exciting musical
capitol of the country, where we will spend the next 3 nights. This
evening we will enjoy dinner and a show at the popular Clay Cooper
Theatre.
Day 9. After a leisurely
morning we will
enjoy shopping and lunch at the nearby outlet mall before boarding the
showboat Branson Belle for a cruise on Table Rock Lake with dinner and
entertainment’ This evening we’ll enjoy the music, special effects and
costumes at Shoji Tabuchi’s Theatre, the number one show in Branson.
Day 10. We will spend
some time in
downtown Branson, where you can visit a 5 and 10 cent store, leather
shops, and have lunch at one of the many restaurants before attending
afternoon and evening shows (to be announced at a later date).
Day 11. We travel east,
past the famous
Gateway Arch in St. Louis, cross the mighty Mississippi River, through
Illinois and overnight in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Day 12. We journey past
Indianapolis, into
Ohio, pass Columbus and northward, enjoy dinner before checking into
our hotel and overnight near Ashtabula.
Day 13. Traveling
through Pennsylvania
into New York State, we stay near Albany where our hotel is next to the
Cracker Barrel Restaurant and Old Country Store.
Day 14. We will stop at
some of our
favorite shopping venues on our way to Waterville, Maine to spend our
last night on the road and enjoy a farewell dinner and evening
entertainment.
Day 15. Homeward bound
with memories of
our Tennessee and Branson tour.

JULY 10- 24, 2011
Day 1. We leave
Fredericton, stopping in
Moncton, traveling through Nova Scotia, into Cape Breton to North
Sydney, where our hotel overlooks the ferry terminal.
Day 2. Enjoy the ferry
ride to
Newfoundland, where we will dock at Port aux Basque and make our way to
Stephenville for the night.
Day 3. Traveling up the
western 'Viking
Trail', we'll stop at the Tablelands, one of the few places in the
world you can view the earth’s core, then the Gros Morne Visitors
Center. We make our way to Cow Head and enjoy a performance of the Gros
Morne Theatre festival.
Day 4. We continue on to
St. Anthony for
the night, on the look out for icebergs. We'll make a stop at L'anse
aux Meadows at the remains of the thousand year old Viking settlement,
keeping an eye out for moose in the area. This evening we'll have an
evening of food and fun at the Viking Feast.
Day 5. We make our way
down the Viking
Trail on the lookout for Moose, stopping in Deer Lake for lunch then
make our way to Grand-Falls Windsor for the night. We'll stop at the
Salmon Interpretation Centre before arriving in the city of St. John's
for 3 nights.
Day 6. We'll enjoy a
drive along the Irish
Loop where the herd of Caribou make their home. We'll enjoy lunch at a
local cafe, then stop in St. Vincents to see the whales. We make our
way back to the city. This evening we will be joined by the very
talented Darin Steele for an evening of comedy, Irish dancing and great
food. Enjoy a screech-in and become an honorary Newfoundlander.
Day 7. Darin will join
us for a 'city
tour' of St. John's, where we will see the cathedral of St. John the
Baptist, Signal Hill, Quidi Vidi Village, stopping in the downtown area
for time 'on your own' for lunch and shopping. Later we will drive to
the most easterly point of North America at Cape Spear, where you will
have time to walk the boardwalk to see whales offshore or climb up to
the lighthouse and gift shop.
Day 8. We travel off the
Trans Canada
stopping in Heart's Content to visit the Cable Station, site of the
first trans-Atlantic cable. Later on we'll make our way to Gander for
the night. We will make a stop at the Silent Witness Memorial, where
the 101st Airborne flight crashed. This evening we'll have dinner
followed by some entertainment
Day 9. Off the Trans
Canada we go and take
the 'road to the isles' to the little community of Twillingate. We'll
visit the Ice Berg shop, see the lighthouse and enjoy dinner and local
entertainment and spend the night in this little settlement.
Day 10. We travel past
Deer Lake to the
City of Corner brook where we'll spend 2 nights.
Our hotel is next to the
local mall, a
great source of souvenirs and local music and books.
Day 11. We'll have a
tour of the area,
stopping to see the Railroad Museum and the "Newfie Bullet" the famous
narrow gauge Newfoundland Train.
Day 12. We travel to
Port aux Basque where
we'll spend the night at a local hotel.
Day 13. We board the
boat cruise back to
Nova Scotia, spending the night in New Glasgow.
Day 14. Homeward bound,
with memories of

AUGUST 10 - 18, 2011
Day 1. We leave the
Maritimes, cross the
border and overnight in Massachusetts.
Day 2. Traveling across
the New England
States, we cross into Pennsylvania, traveling through the Pocono
Mountains, to overnight at our favorite hotel, have a delicious buffet
dinner, and have time to browse in the extensive gift shop.
Day 3. We travel north
through
Pennsylvania into New York State to Corning stopping at the Corning
Museum of Glass, see the glass making demonstrations, and the world’s
most celebrated collection of Glass. Then we’re off to Niagara Falls,
New York for 2 nights.
Day 4. Our first stop
will be at the
Visitor Centre at the Niagara Falls State Park, to look at the exhibits
and view the floral gardens and river walkway, as well as taking time
for the gift shop. Then we will visit the Observation Tower that
extends out over the Niagara Gorge looking directly out into the
cascading waters of the American Falls. At the base of the Observation
Tower, we will take the elevator down to board the Maid of the Mist for
an exciting boat ride to view the American Falls and Canadian Horseshoe
Falls.
Day 5. The Erie Canal
was dug by hand
between 1817 and 1825 to connect the Hudson River and the Atlantic
Ocean. We will travel a short distance to Lockport for a cruise on the
Erie Canal. We cruise under bridges, experience ‘locking through’ the
locks being lowered or raised 49 feet and view the amazing rock cuts,
as well as seeing several historic sites. This afternoon we will visit
the George Eastman Estate, spending time in the beautifully designed
gardens, touring the home, and visiting the museum and seeing many
items dedicated to his life’s work of photography. We will overnight in
the area of nearby Rochester.
Day 6. Of course no one
on a visit to the
Finger Lakes area should miss a visit to a vineyard and some wine
tasting, which is on our agenda this morning. Later we will stop at an
Outlet Mall which has a Bon Worth store, have lunch in the food court,
then we’re off to Rome at visit the Canal Village, an outdoor living
history museum. As in earlier days you can enjoy a horse drawn Packet
Boat cruise or take a train ride. Take time to visit the Erie Canal,
Harden and Cheese Making Museums on site, as well as the Blacksmith
Shop, Ice House, School and Church. We will overnight in the area,
where we‘re just south of the Adirondack Mountains.
Day 7. We will travel
just a short way to
Herkimer to Gems Along the Mohawk, a visitors center, shopping and
dining complex, then board Lil’ Diamond 11 boat for a cruise on the
Erie Canal . Enjoy the Captain’s tales of the canal as we cruise and go
through Lock No. 18. We will spend some time in the village of
Waterford at the junction of Erie and Champlain Canals and the junction
of the Mohawk and Hudson Rivers. It is home to the highest lift locks
in the world. We will walk along the historic waterfront with time to
browse in the small shops nearby. Later on we will arrive in the
capitol of New York State, Albany, and overnight in the area with
dinner tonight at the Cracker Barrel and time to shop at the Old
Country Store.
Day 8. We travel into
Massachusetts, stop
at some of our favorite shopping venues on our way to Waterville, Maine
for our farewell dinner and entertainment.
Day 9. Homeward bound
with memories of our
Erie Canal and Niagara Falls tour.

Day 1. We leave the
Maritimes and overnight in Massachusetts on our adventure of a paradise
of sand, turquoise waters and pastel buildings in Bermuda.
Day 2. We travel through
Connecticut and New Jersey to the New York area for the night.
Day 3. We’ll enjoy a
tour of New York City this morning seeing Ground Zero, Empire State
Building, Radio City Music Hall and have lunch in Times Square before
boarding Holland America’s ship ‘The Veendam’ for our 7 night cruise to
Bermuda.
Day 4. Enjoy a ‘day at
sea’ to get acquainted with this spectacular cruise ship with its
elegant dining rooms, wide teak decks, swimming pools, walking tracks,
theatre, excellent evening shows.
Day 5. We arrive at St
George’s at the eastern end of the island this morning, where we’ll
stay for overnight. Shop for cashmeres, crystal and china. Drop into
one of the British pubs for afternoon tea or stroll along the walled
lanes. While here you could enjoy an evening glass-bottom boat cruise
with underwater lights that illuminate the coral reef and sea life.
Enjoy a riding tour or candlelight walk.
Day 6. We leave St.
George’s and arrive in Hamilton at 9:00 AM where we’ll stay for 3 days.
While here, we’ll use our ship as a floating hotel for our stay here.
Take a walk along colorful Front Street, visit the Cathedral or Fort
Hamilton, a fortress complete with moat and underground passageways.
Day 7. Another day in
Paradise! Listen to the soft rhythm of soft calypso music, feast your
eyes on the pastel painted cottages. Take an excursion to the Royal
Navy Dockyard at King’s Wharf, see the Crystal caves or visit the
aquarium. Enjoy a south shore tour see the lighthouse.
Day 8. You could take a
city tour, carriage ride or find that last minute purchase on the last
day in this enchanting paradise.
Day 9. Enjoy our ship’s
amenities on our last day ‘at sea’.
Day 10. We depart this
morning on our way to Waterville, Maine for our farewell dinner.

Pennsylvania, cross into Ohio, and after lunch, stop at the Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. The museum that has it all! Explore the
roots of Rock and Roll, from country, blues to gospel. See exhibits on
The Who, Elvis Presley, Fats Domino, the Everly Brothers and nearly
every musician and vocalist that you have ever heard. We will check
into our nearby hotel, then we will enjoy a southern dinner and enjoy
live music entertainment at the House of the Blues.
Day 4. We will journey
through Ohio, pass
Toledo and go north to spend 3 nights in the motor city of Dearborn in
the area of Detroit. After lunch we will visit the Motown Historical
Museum that will take us back in time to the Do Wop Days. with memories
of the Temptations, Diana Ross, Little Richard and more! We will check
into our hotel and later enjoy a musical Motown dinner cruise on the
Detroit Princess, a beautiful 5 story riverboat, with stunning views of
Detroit and Windsor skylines.
Day 5. Today is devoted
to the imagination
of Henry Ford. We will spend time at Greenfield Village, where you can
walk the streets of yesteryear, go for a spin in a Vintage Model T,
ride a rail car, or take a shuttle powered by work horses. Walk in to a
Wright Bros work shop, stroll through the many gardens or saunter along
a farm road. Trees, sprawling lawns, farm fields, and a town square,
restaurants, craftspeople, in 7 different districts and of course a
gift shop are yours to enjoy. We will dine this evening at one of the
village restaurants.
You will see a massive
Clock Tower, as you
enter the Henry Ford Museum, 12 acres of Americana under one roof. See
Giant Locomotives, Rosa Park’s Bus, Kennedy’s presidential limo, homes
of the future, living rooms and kitchens up through the years, and of
course many automobiles and even a D3 plane overhead, and Golden Arches
of a 1960‘s McDonalds.
Day 6. We will do the
Ford Rouge Factory
tour, complete with an industrial ecosystem, and robots working, where
you will see the final assembly of Ford’s F-150 pickup. This is all
under the world’s largest ’living roof’. You will see a video on three
massive screens, as well as a 360 degree multi-sensory presentation,
than get a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the entire complex when
taking the elevator up in the visitor’s centre.
Day 7. We cross the St.
Clair river, into
Canada at Windsor, Ontario. We will pass London, stopping outside of
Woodstock and enjoy dinner and lively entertainment at the Walters
Family Theatre, at their countryside barn-theatre. We will overnight
just outside Toronto.
Day 8. We leave the
Toronto area, travel
along Lake Ontario, on our way to Cornwall for the night. Enjoy a
delicious dinner at our hotel this evening.
Day 9. We pass Montreal,
and “Quebec City
on our way to Riviere du Loup for the night, where we will enjoy a
farewell dinner and entertainment to follow.

Day 3. We travel south
along the
Susquehanna River, cross the Mason Dixon line to Maryland, traveling
through the very scenic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, between the
Alleghany and Blue Ridge Mountains and overnight in Abingdon.
Day 4. We travel though
Tennessee to
Gatlinburg “the prettiest little town” in the Smokey Mountains, for
three nights. Tonight we will enjoy a dinner Buffet at the Smith
Brothers Theatre followed by the very entertaining Smith Family Show.
Day 5. We will spend the
afternoon and
evening at Dollywood, during the Southern Gospel and Harvest
Celebration, with many visiting craftspeople throughout the park with
up-close demonstrations. You will have admission to all of the various
live musical shows, see the entertaining Heart song movie at the
Theatre, shop in Craftsman’s Valley, take a ride on the train, with a
southern-style dinner buffet at Aunt Granny’s.
Day 6. Enjoy today ‘on
your own’. Our
downtown hotel is within walking distance of many attractions such as
the aerial tram Ober Gatlinburg, Aquarium, and shops and restaurants.
Take a ride on the Trolley, on one of it’s many routes, to explore the
area.
Day 7. We leave
Tennessee for a scenic
drive to the other side of the Smoky Mountains to North Carolina for 2
nights, in Asheville, former home of the author, Thomas Wolfe.
Day 8. Enjoy a leisurely
morning as we
spend time at the Magnificent Biltmore Estate, America’s largest home
where you enjoy touring the house and century-old gardens of this
spectacular property. Enjoy a lavish luncheon buffet at the Deer park
Restaurant while here. This afternoon we will spend at the Antler Hill
Village and Winery which connects the estate’s past and present
providing a relaxing area for shopping and historical exhibits. See
Edith Vanderbilt’s Car on display for the first time ever, and is the
only care George Vanderbilt purchased that remains in the estate‘s
collection. Stop in at the estate winery, visit the Conservatory, shop
at A Gardner’s Place, or stroll through the Spring Garden.
Day 9. We will leave
Asheville traveling
east past Hickory and Greensboro to Durham into Virginia. We will
travel north to Virginia and eastward toward the coast for the night.
Day 10. An exciting
drive awaits us this
morning, as we cross the spectacular Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, then
travel north through the Virginia and Maryland countryside to central
New Jersey for the night.
Day 11. Traveling north,
we overnight in
the Albany area, have dinner at the Cracker Barrel and Old Country

THE ROYAL AGRICULTURAL WINTER FAIR
NOVEMBER 4 - 13, 2011
Day 1. We leave the
Maritimes, traveling
along the Saint John River in New Brunswick, then into the province of
Quebec, where we will overnight in Quebec City. We will enjoy a buffet
dinner this evening at a local restaurant.
Day 2. We will travel
through Quebec, stop
for lunch just outside Montreal and make our way to the Thousand
Islands area of Gananoque for the night.
Day 3. We travel along
Lake Ontario, past
Belleville and Oshawa, arrive in the bustling mega city of Toronto, our
home for the next 4 nights. We will enjoy dinner, before checking into
our hotel.
Day 4. A guide will join
us for a city
tour this morning. We will see Casa Loma, the 98 room castle, high on a
hill, the Harbor front, Ontario Place and the many different
neighborhoods. After lunch we will enjoy the experience tour of the
Rogers Centre (formerly the Sky dome) home to the Blue Jays. Later we
will have a tour of the engineering marvel the CN Tower with 3 levels
of viewing and the famous glass floor, with time to visit the gift shop
and have dinner in the 360 degree restaurant in the sky.
Day 5. We will spend
today at the Royal
Agricultural Winter Fair. Enjoy this Canadian Tradition. It’s the
largest indoor combined agricultural, horticultural, canine and
equestrian event in the world. You can see everything from Butter
Sculptures to baby chicks. Enjoy the agricultural displays, livestock,
and of course the many exhibits and retail booths for crafts and
household items. Later we will go for dinner at the Famous People
Players Theatre with their black light demonstrations, that is put on
by some Special People inspired by the very talented Diane Dupuy.
Day 6. Enjoy another day
at the Royal
Agricultural Winter Fair. For those who might wish to go shopping
instead, we will visit a local shopping mall. This evening we will
attend a Broadway Style Show(to be announced later)
Day 7. Traveling back
through Ontario, we
will travel along the St. Lawrence River and spend the night in
Cornwall with dinner at out hotel.
Day 8. We travel through
Montreal, and
past Quebec City on our way to Riviere du Loup for the night, where
we’ll enjoy a group farewell dinner.

Maryland, with dinner nearby restaurant.
Day 3. Our journey today
takes us through
Virginia to North Carolina for the night.
Day 4. We arrive in
Myrtle Beach by
lunchtime, stopping at Barefoot Landing Complex before checking into
our hotel with oceanfront rooms for 4 nights.
Day 5. After a breakfast
buffet, a guide
will join us for an historical and informative ‘Low Country tour’ of
the area. We will visit Broadway At the Beach shopping complex for
lunch. Relax at the hotel this afternoon, then we will have dinner at
Benjamin’s Original Calabash Buffet. Then we’re off to the Palace
Theatre for Christmas On Ice, direct from the Winter Olympics,
America’s most loved Holiday Show of award winning artistry lighting
and costumes.
Day 6. Enjoy a leisurely
morning at the
hotel. After lunch we will see the Legends in Concert Holiday Show-an
amazing evening of holiday cheer brought to life by some of the world’s
greatest look-alike impersonators recreating the magic of the season
with holiday music. We will go for dinner, the see the South’s Grandest
Christmas Show at the Alabama Theatre. Dramatic and elaborate sets with
stunning special effects create magical moments.
Day 7. Relax this
morning, than we will go
for lunch and shopping to one of the Outlet Malls.
Back to the hotel for
the afternoon, than
we will go for dinner at a nearby restaurant.
Day 8. We travel
northwest through North
Carolina, into Virginia, through the beautiful Shenandoah Valley,

Day 9. Our journey takes
us northward
through Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, cross the Mason Dixon Line
to Pennsylvania, to Lancaster for three nights. We will have dinner and
this evening we will see the spectacular live musical show, the Miracle
of Christmas at the Sight and Sound Theatre, the largest Christian
Theatre in the country.
Day 10. A guide will
join us the morning
for an Amish countryside tour of the area, where you will see horse and
buggies, farms and visit a quilt shop. We will enjoy a midday meal with
an Amish family. Later we will stop at Kitchen Kettle Village, sample
jam and jellies, and browse through the many unique shops.
Day 11. This morning we
will visit
Hershey, have lunch and shopping at Chocolate World. Later we will
visit one of the local outlet malls, have dinner and back to the hotel.
Day 12. We will travel
through
Pennsylvania and to Springfield, Massachusetts for the night. We will
enjoy a drive-thru at Bright Nights at Forest Park and see many
animated Holiday scenes sparkling with thousands of lights. We will
